As a hetero-romantic asexual, I can give some insight. It you are truly an asexual, then you shouldn't do anything about it. Just accept who you are. If your having a problem with society not accepting asexuality, then the only thing you can do find ways to not be pressured and bothered by society. Some people are just asexual and that's that. You can even be romantically attracted to someone and still be asexual (as in my case.) Many fetishists are asexual and don't even realize it. There are a higher number of Aspies that are asexual compared to NT's but that does not mean Aspies are asexual, many are extremely sexual (like my father.) One statistic I read estimated that 2-5% of the general population is asexual, whereas 12-18% of Aspies are asexual.

I'm a borderline asexual. My advice if your wanting a relationship OP is to try the asexual sites & also think about if you could handle any kinds of sexual stuff or not in a relationship. Some asexuals can not tolerate any kinds of sexual stuff at all & others can. Not all asexuals are the same & not all sexuals are the same either. Some asexuals & sexuals can compromise & make a relationship work fairly well but others cant. You should also be honest with your partner. You do not have to tell everyone you meet about your asexuality but you should let your parter know about it instead of lying or faking it when sex comes up in a relationship.
