I miss all my friends back in Lansing. I also miss the state of mind I had before I met her...

I still have to see her once in a while when I walk the halls, which is supposed to be my calming routine. I miss the time when it actually worked on half of my attempts.

I miss having loud, obnoxious conversations about all manner of geek and nerd subjects in the back of the cafeteria at my former community college. I miss having calm, intellectual conversations with those same friends, in the same place. I miss my overtly positive view of women thanks to my experiences with older women, i.e., teachers. I miss only having to deal with ADHD in regards to my homework and studying.

I never should've tried what my therapist told me by expanding my search to those that didn't fit all my criteria. I wish the woman I am looking for would come soon and fix all of this.

Yes, I miss my brother, Gary, who was AS. He passed away August 21 2005 - aged 49. I know he missed a lot of people he lost touch with too because, outside of the family, although many many people had a lot of time for him, he didn't have any friends.

I'm now blessed to have met a friend who is so like my brother in many ways - he isn't my brother but he feels like one and we share two main interests - neither of which interested Gary. So, somehow, I feel I have a friend who gives me something back for the brother I miss so much.

I do very much, sad that things changed and ended like they did... I'd give anything to fix things. :(

Yes. She was quiet something. But I guess she needed someone, and that someone wasn't me.
One day I will see her again, some day far from now, when we are old. We will laugh and reminisce of what was and what could have been. One day.
