Seems to be a stateside thing, but maybe there is someone in england for me :)

My names Tom, im pretty much your usual aspie guy. My friends look at me as the nice guy, as do my 'girl friends' but nothing could ever happen. Im a warm, altruistic individual. All i am looking for, is someone to share my dreams with. Im friendly, but socially inept, i dont like crowded places, or loud noise, basically clubs are out :( sorry. I love my computer, work with pc's, but have interests in all aspects of science. I am intelligent, love to discuss world afairs, deplore standard male 'jokes'. Best of all, i dont like football, so the remote is yours all the time. I like to help people achieve their dreams, even at the expense of mine.

Im 5'11, short brown hair, and blue eyes. I have an apparently 'cute' baby face. I am a smoker, but would give up for the right person. Im also a good listener, and would love to hear what you have to say.

I live with my flatmate in Tunbridge Wells, south east england. I dont as of yet drive, it just drains me so quickly :(. Oh, and dont worry, although i may be brutally honest, but i never have an ulterior motive, you will always know wher you stand with me. Is it me or do i really suck at this personal stuff?

Oh, i never ever cheat. Ever. I abolutely DEPLORE that kind of behavior.

Don't knock me for it either. Friends put me up to it and so far the rating is alot more than I ever expected. It kind of gives me something to look up to when i'm otherwised all messed up, downtrodden and confused.

Hey guys, us aspie girls need love too. We just need to be convinced sometimes. I am terrified of meeting new people but am slowly dying of loneliness. I need someone to talk to that isn't uncomfortable with those of us that are 'out of the box' thinkers. What does an 'aspie guy' want or need from one of us (besides the obvious?)
I'll be waiting anxiously to hear from anyone.

Yes, I can cook, what's your favorite? Some of my specialities are spaghetti, lasagna, chili, beer bread, sausage gravy, all kinds of pies, gooey chocolate cakes and burnt popcorn, but I make really bad coffee because I don't drink it. :8)

See now thats good- don't worry about posting all that "I enjoy movies and long walks in the park" nonsense, just post a list of stuff you can cook :D

With an impressive list like that, I'm sure you'll find love in no time!

Love? who knows? Dogs are the best if you want unconditional love, so I have one. I'm just wanting to practice making friends first.
Opening up my 'bubble' isn't easy, it's safer inside, but I'm trying. I do like to feed people. I feel comfortable in that type of setting, but the 'one to one' social stuff is rough. Giving and taking in a conversation with someone you don't know, doesn't go too smoothly for me, anyone else have that problem?
8) I still like the other stuff too.

Look, I wouldn't take anything he says too seriously. When he said love, he probably meant indigestion...

I take that as a 'Yes' to having probs communicating and 'No' to being a friend/friendly?

I will be posting my description later if I get the guts to do it...
I have spent my life looking for people like me. Thank God, god, goddess, thank anyone out there listening...There are people who think like me.
This intimacy thing - I wonder if you are like me. I can handle it sometimes, and sometimes I really can't, and physical intimacy doesn't work unless the person can deal with my "rules," of course, not realizing that everyone has them. Mine are just different and overt. Maybe someone will come along who understands when to leave you alone and can touch you in the right way and then it will work. I met someone like that, who could touch me the right way. It was so peaceful...but she didn't want the rest of me. I'm still looking.

I can assure you that there is no hidden meaning to anything I say. I was just goofing around- I'm not sure how you took that to mean that I didn't want to be friends. I'm a pretty friendly guy really, Just ask.. um. Any of my friends. >_>

I don't know about the other guys, but for me I just want someone I don't have to talk to but just enjoy their presence. If someone needs to talk to be comfortable, well, it'd be a shortlived relationship. The 'obvious' isn't a requirement for all guys.

The name is Sam. 5'11" 140 pounds. I love music. The girl of my dreams would need to like music. I play guitar, but would like to learn the piano because it is a much more common musical instrument. Every community place has one, so it would be nice if I knew something other than Mary Had a Little Lamb. I like progressive rock, but I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it isn't rap or Britney Spears. I like to read and play guitar. PM me if you wanna talk.

Just out of curiousity - is there *anyone* in Cleveland with AS aside from other dudes? I'm just curious.
