I have a profile on there, but nothing succeed. So many picky and bitchy competitive women on there. That makes me a loser because what's an odd out chance?

I've had friends tell me they sign up for these sites when they get dumped or feel bad about their self image just to see how many people will reply with no actual intent of talking to anyone; just stoking ego.

The other thing that is a mine field is this.

I read a study that compared how men and women viewed attractiveness on websites using a scale of 1-10.

Men's results showed a bell curve distribution for attractiveness.

Women's results showed something like 80% of guys online were unattractive.

I do think that a dating site that would work well for aspies would require some sort of facilitation.

Seriously, I have been a member of this about a week and it has been a turn off. Seeing those women are actually having a big secret. They want good looking guy. Physical appearance matters to them. Most of their profile does not mention the looks, they always say a good personality guy and that. So, that is a great lie of women on these dating websites. There also some overweight women as well, they are mostly to face burden with guys, but yet they are still shallow. Dating websites are a great focus of shallow women. They care how the guys look from the outside.

In this point, I have only 4 messages back out of 15 profile views. They go through the photos and that. That is a turn off. I never consider myself as shallow because I always look at their photos to see how they look like. No judgment on physical appearance. I refer who they are, such personalities, interests and that etc.

Women who have a profile on okcupid: Please stop looking at the looks! It is a big turn off!

Would be attractive enough? I wasn't trying to be. Just being myself.

Decided to close my account on OKC. Don't really need it now anyway :)
Had no positive experience with it.

Not single now, plus even if that were to change I doubt OKC is really for me. Have had people visit my profile back in January when it was newer but that was about it.

Yea so true. I had quite a few checked on my profile in last few days and they are like 'nah, too ugly'. That is what women is like on dating websites.
