The scientific community would point out there are correlations within human nature but not always absolutes bar things like anatomy. The reason? The human brain.

well, I'm inclined to believe that facts can be well stated as facts by empirical means regarding the physical world only, anything else is pretty much junk, examples such as morality, idealisms, social and political ideals are relative and subjective and pretty much people believe in stuff because they find it convenient regardless. Thus I tend to reject claimed truths that are not tangible.

Something being common is pretty much meaningless as a justification for truth, in a social context.

From my parents, to married experience, to coming in here - it seems "what females really want" is someone to argue/fight with. ;)

His brain does not want, his heart wants so much... No matter which part wins, I hope you'll find your peace one day.

From what I have learned over the past 39+ years. The answer is not me.

LoL, Sadly same thing here too.
I found if I tried hard enough, play the numbers, I could get into relationships, but they never last past the honeymoon stage.
Even with another Aspie.

I've never found relationships to work. I too can play the numbers game, but the sad reality is that relationships suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck man. I'm never in the mood to have someone always demanding so freaking much of my time. Unfortunately, however, you don't get a "go away for 80% of the time" button for the most part.

seems to me the points the initial poster made about being an alpha male provider etc are correct in the initial female attraction phase

but girls/women also want to have fun once they're in the relationship - and that's where Aspie's (zero or very quirky sense of humour, no small talk, don't naturally attribute any value to 'hanging out', would rather be pursuing their own interests) can hit real problems

I haven't found an answer to this - any ideas very welcome- thanks
