help me understand my attraction to deaf girls

I have a bit of an odd attraction to deaf girls. I wouldn't call it a fetish because it has no sexual effects, it's simply an attractive quality. I discovered this through watching Jericho and Switched at Birth. Any one else share this attraction or one similar?

2 possibilities:
*You feel they can't hear you being socially awkward, only see you being socially awkward and with luck that might come off as cute.
*You feel you don't have to talk to them ))))

I think it's the can't hear the awkwardness. A friend suggested that maybe it comes from my desire to be with someone that struggles with communication similarly to how I do. I just think it's very odd and alot of my friends act like I'm somewhat predatory when it isn't like that at all

People are attracted to all sorts of things. Never be ashamed about what attracts you or what you're into.

As long as you aren't openly objectifying them ("I think your're sexy because of your handicap") it shouldn't be an issue.

I'd be open to dating a deaf person.

I am partially deaf and have a speech impediment on top of it. It'd be cool to meet a girl who would actually be okay with it. From my experience barely any of them I know are, though.....

I've always felt an attraction to deaf women. Perhaps its because I was partially deaf as a child due to allergies and can understand their struggles. Most deaf women I have met are really sweet too and I'm sure they appreciate the fact I accept and am happy to accommodate their difficulties in communication.

I'm not only open to dating a deaf person but I would be very eager to learn sign language as well.
