How tall are you? And what's the minimum height that you would go for in a guy?

I think I'm 5'6 and I don't have a minimum height.

I personally made bad experiences with a small man, so i know its not about every one, but it made me a bit afraid of having relationships with small men. (Not saying it would be impossible, but i´d need to know the person much more until i would feel "safe" that this wouldn´t happen again.

So according to social standards i am not very feminine. (Does not mean i am ugly.) I dont like typical female clothing because most of them are very uncomfortable, i do not like to paint my face because it feels weird, i am sporty because i really like to do sport in summer and we are renewing every year the old house in which we live, so carrying around 40 kg (about 100 pounds) sacks of material isn´t giving you a female silhouette either. ^^ (But its giving you a healthy butt, when you also have to lift that material upstairs. ^^ ) So its no problem for myself, but i have experienced that small men who are tiny too, really have problems with themself when you seem to be "advanced in disciplines" where men should "lead" according to social standards and stereotypes. So being alone taller then the man isnt that great problem. But being taller, "broader", stronger then the man and topping that with speaking and acting "more male" them him, can really create some issues in some men. :(

My actual partner you could call a bear and even when i would wear a false beard and dildo he would still "look more male" then me according to social stereotypes. So i can just act the way i am and behave like i am and do not have to worry about that i have to fake a artificial "female behaviour", so that he does not feel threatened himself in his "masculinity" in our relationship.

While the average height of a girl is 5'4" as probably mentioned in this thread, personally I've noticed girls being around 5' so I think you're in good hands. I'm 5' 7.5" and I've bedded the most girls out of all of my friends. It's not uncommon for them to be 5'6", my size, and in minor cases...a bit taller. But idk it still works for me despite not really liking it when girls are taller. You feel kinda like a badass because you're short and yet you have this girl who is bigger than you want is all into you.

Lawl. Problem is they have to get over the height issue before they get to that point.

I've had quite a few crushes on short men. I dated a man who was the same height as me (5ft4) and it was so nice to be able to hug him and put my head on his shoulder, or kiss him without having to stretch up.

And when you get horizontal all things are equal! And I bet standing up against the wall would work very well too! :D

About 50% of the guys I've dated (or slept with, or...well, whatever) have been the same height as me or shorter, and I'm 5'3".

Maybe I'm atypical, but height really isn't the first thing I consider, if I consider it at all.

Theoretically I prefer taller men. But the one I married was shorter than me.

I love short women (5'3 or under), I think they're very sexy and most times they're gorgeous because they tend to watch their bodies more carefully. I'm not much into tall women, honestly.
