ComicCon... San Diego.

Any of these sorts of conventions are great places to meet people. I was at Gen Con two years ago, and if I hadn't had my hands full working, I might have made a connection or two. The potential was definitely there!

Nah these conventions are fun social gathering places. Tons of hot chicks but lots of competition from all the other foreveralone guys. Too bad I don't fit in well there anymore. Shame.

Yeah I went to a local Con recently I just feel too old for it even if I did get to talk to a lot of women I'll never see again. To be honest the forever alone guys aren't really any competition just take a decent costume as a video game alpha male, make non-creepy conversation and some jokes and you're pretty set. A lot of the girls at Cons are foreveralones, too :P
