I also second the razor. Don't pluck!

I think letting it go and not harping on it would be the best route to go. But, if he brings it up again, you might ask if he'd also want you keep your mouth shut if he had a piece of food in his teeth or his fly was down? ie. Let him know you were just trying to look out for him.

You mean eyebrows...not eyelashes...

Now that's another thing - I don't mind unibrows. But ear and nose hair? Blurgh! I mean, surely excess snot and earwax would get trapped in them?! Isn't that a lovely thought?

herp derp, I meant eyebrows. Though I have super long lashes for a guy, too.

It's nothing to do with hygiene; having a little too much eyebrow hair will not attract germs.
It is a grooming thing, perhaps.

Nothing wrong with a little "manscaping" to look your best for a special occasion. ;)

Well, if I was in your shoes I would say it's like shaving a beard off. Homeless people leave their beards all wild and look dirtier with a wild beard/too much facial hair. Ungroomed imples dirty to a lot. Also I would mention a lot of beautiful girls have secret unibrows that they pluck off and no one can tell.

i see plucking/trimming my unibrow as cosmetic, there's no hygienic reason to keep it under control (afik).
on that note; i do trim mine if i need to look good/styled/representative for some occasion.

also, let me be another one that supports the razor, plucking is very annoying at best, and intolerably painful on a lesser day...

Facial hair removal cream. Razors are a little risky. I mean it wouldn't matter if you make a whoopsy while shaving a beard or mustache, you can just shave clean if you make a huge blunder. But if you accidentally shave off more eyebrow than you intended that's gonna look embarrassing. Doubly so if your brows end up very asymmetrical. You can't exactly shave the rest of your eyebrows off to fix the mistake :P

Let a pro does for him, it's tricky.

A true pro would wax.

And cosmetically inclined women wouldn't worry with trimming altogether, they'd get brow tattoos. A lady I work with has them and she looks surprised all the time.

There's no need for plucking. Just tell him to use an electric shaver (if he owns one) and with one or two quick passes, trim that hair off every other day.

Try offering to trim it instead. For neatness sake. Then, "accidently" divide it into two.

Wow...There is a lot of overkill in this thread.

Just shave it while your shaving. 5 seconds.

I'd just leave it as it is. If he wants it there why should he get rid of it? I've never done anything with my eyebrows and I don't shave at all.
