Hi everyone,
Carolina here, producer of Autism in Love, a feature length documentary about people with autism searching for and maintaining romantic relationships.

We are in the middle of production and have launched a Kickstarter to raise $100,000. We have 16 days left and about $90,000 to go. Please donate and/or support us by sharing our campaign so that we can finish this incredible film!

Check out our sizzle reel and Kickstarter links below!! !

Every little bit helps...

We also wanna hear from you guys. What do you think of this topic? What do you have to say?

Eternally grateful!
-Carolina

well, for me. and I give my thoughts on this topic. for me, the ultimate goal is make female friends. I can't get a girlfriend because I am too eccentric,
but getting female friends is something I enjoy doing.

but there are aspie/autism/pddnos folks here that do have relationship, and I think they would be better people to talk to, than me.

but I like your idea. Btw will you being doing anything about male aspie and their female friends.

and I did check out facebook page of autism in love.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I think NTs don't realize how difficult it is for us a lot of times.

Since Alex seems to approve, it must be a worthy cause.

It looks cute.

Since you're mid-production, you probably have most of the film worked out. So, you're probably not looking for ideas--just cash, which most of us probably don't have.

hey guys! glad you dig the project/idea. we are shooting until Sept/Oct, so we are definitely open to hearing ideas/thoughts.

but yes, at this moment, we are raising money to be able to finish the film and share it with the world.

while you may not be able to donate, you can totally help by SHARING the kickstarter.

I think it's a great idea, the trailer looks very good.

However... (you knew this was coming) the world we live in does not really accept Aspies. I am afraid to come out of the closet, so to say. The country I live in is very tolerant of LGBT, but not so much of autists. I know a lot of Aspies, but none of them will publicly admit the fact (I know they're Aspies, because I recognize their behavior).

So I cannot like your FB page or follow your Twitter account, though I would very much like to do so.

I can only hope you achieve your goal. I wish you success!

This looks good. I'm sorry that I didn't notice this before and it's also unfortunate that your kickstarted didn't reach it's goal.

And here we go again... The intelligent nerd stereotype. Most Aspie men are not intelligent nerds, they are 8th grade dropouts. To most Aspie men girls were something that was 8 years before them in maturity! Get over it.
