Greetings,

I am so lost. My friend states that I am close friend. So here's they story. Well she deletes me from facebook and when I text her she nevers text back. I sent her a txt last night that said " People tend to write me off. But if you did its ok". The txt I got back was I am on a date can't talk.

I knew a girl like that. She deleted me off her FB, too. I'm like "Oh... You deleted me... Okay... That's very nice..."

I was recently un friended by a person that was a friend-made me feel like a piece of garbage being disposed of. Not a nice feeling especially after a lot of good times and helping this friend and a rough spot and a hurtful incident and wanting to resolve it-I got disposed of-I will never understand and by a fellow aspie.

I am just going to drop off the face of the earth to her. I am good friends with her dad and mom. That's one of my biggest things that bug me. Just be honest if you don't want to talk to me just tell me.

Just work on you :) You can never get back time spent worrying over someone silly like that.

Sadly, I have done this deleting people off facebook thing to people as well. I am not sure why they did it if you two were close friends, but my guess is that she had something to hide from you. Here are reasons I would delete people off facebook and I don't think they would apply to you:

1. Never met them and don't know why they are on my friends list anyway.
2. Met them once, never talked to them again.
3. All they ever do is send me spam mail for game apps and it annoys me. These people invited themselves to be deleted anyway
4. Bad Breakup (only once) or a girl I dated and it did not end well either. No reason for her to know how I am doing. Only once was I asked why I deleted them.
5. A close friend who betrayed me or made it clear either through facebook or in person that they wanted nothing to do with me. only happened once.
6. For professional (work-related) reasons. You never want to associate yourself with a known criminal if you are working a government job. If you are suspicious for whatver reason, hit the delete button.
7. I found the person offensive with their status updates or what they posted on their or others facebook walls. I have not had this one happen yet.

These all seem like legitimate reasons. Deleting someone because you're too cowardly to talk to them/break up is a different story in my opinion.

I wonder the same thing. It's so easy to be honest, but some can't wrap their heads around the concept.

I've had women delete me from facebook for asking about their height, I've had women I thought deleted me from facebook but either didn't (or at least most likely didn't) and turned up again on my list or had their profile deleted probably because they were being sh***y and pugnacious on facebook. There does get to be a lot of issues with facebook, really, I know people who have not gotten message notifications when I message them from time to time so I have to message them at a later time and they tell me what happened. Facebook be having issues.

Women are often not straightforward because they're much smaller than us males are and we need to remember that when dealing with them. The threat of violence is there even if you don't say anything or do anything to suggest it. It's there just be the fact that you are and she is. It's not fair, I know, but that's how the world works. Besides, I've had women be honest with me, and I've found that I kinda like it better when nothing's said and we just sever ties with nothing,

I only delete from facebook if it's someone I haven't actually talked to in /ages/ and have no interest in getting their updates, honestly, they probably didn't even notice.

Only once did I have to delete a guy from work because he was being so smothering and stalkery that it was a little scary. I just didn't need that person knowing anything more than they already did about my personal life, and I couldn't make an update or a comment on anything without him pouncing on it.
