How to talk to Asian girls?

There's this Vietnamese-American girl at my new summer job hitting on me hard core. Like seriously blatant.

Actually, there are two, maybe 3, who act interested, two of whom are insanely privileged ivy league grads who scare me (nothing to do with gender). Why are the Asian girls always hitting on me and not the European, black or hispanic girls? I don't want people to think I have an Asian fetish.

But if I asked the Vietnamese girl out, no one could accuse me of going with Asian girls because they are more "submissive" or passive. Because this one is not...by a long shot.

Asian girls seem to be my destiny. Should I just accept it?

Okay no idea where this thread is 40 pages in, but I'm from Vancouver, with a massive Asian population. Mostly Chinese, Indian, Filipino in my experience, but also some Malaysians, Vietnamese, Thai..

It's pretty much an immigrant paradise. By that I mean children of rich Hong Kong business parents. Or Taiwanese. Occasionally Singaporean. Our successful south Koreans or Japanese.

They tend to be either born native to the city or moved at a very young age. They're used to a life of relative privilege. They speak perfect English and often can at least speak without accent in their own tongue.lots of them speak at home and go to Chinese school so they can write as well. Culture is a mish mash of their probably more liberal than traditional Asian but still conservative parents and the fragmented Americanized Canadian identity. So quite interesting. They're mostly quite soft spoken and shy, getting good grades and going to decent universities.

Of course not everyone is so rich.some people like me had parents who hailed from mainland China and had to work their ass off to get into the middle class. Poorer east side districts have lots of Filipinos and families who would ascend to a better future here through hard work.that doesn't necessarily mean their kids had it tough.

Immigrants tend to stick together and form different cliques from natural born.They're both quite nice, but it's hard to befriend anyone who has been in the same school as you for years if you'vy talked to them before.Immigrants however, just want friends. They'll love it if you can fluently speak their language but most want to learn English too. They may also speak beautiful northern mandarin dialects.

No, it hasn't. I hope to go to Japan someday, it would be so much fun.

I'm not, I am one of the few people who is not obsessive about anime and still watches it. I liked it, a lot, but there are others. If I went to Japan, even if I went to the anime shops, I would only go for a little bit. I'd prefer the retro gaming shops, and the junk shops, there is a lot more variety. I would probably end up liking it more than most if I actually got used to it, and the culture shock wore off.

Yeah, they are very good salesmen, and even better manufacturers. You should research Dr. Demming, he was a big part in the reconstruction of Japan. To think, my Great granddad wasn't very accepting of Asian people since he served in the navy during ww2, but the first Toyota he got, he turned around for the most part (according to my grandpa) saying stuff like "This car is way better than that damn Ford, no wonder they are selling so well!" He loved that car. I love Japan, and hope to visit it if I get the chance.
