Too bad I couldn't care less what someone I don't even know from the other hemisphere thinks of me.

You cared enough to reply to what she posted, didn't you?

This.

Pointing out that one does not care about other people's opinions, does not mean that one actually does. This is an overused fallacy that still (seemingly) doesn't have a fancy, latin name.

If I cared, I'd post my personal opinions or at least get offended by it.

You not only said "Well nah nah nah boo boo I don't care anyway" but you responded at length to a post I made that wasn't about you, as if you thought it was about you.

I take this and all the other times you've responded to me as a sign that you really, really care what I think about a wide variety of subjects.

You flatter me so, Kurgan.

I stated that I did not identify wih an infamous internet stereotype that gets thrown around a lot by people who seek to discredit anyone who disagrees with them.

Could be, but I really don't care if you think I'm personaly better or worse than an internet meme most people won't even cross paths with in real life.

I've never flamed you nor given you a compliment. So there's really nothing to be flattered by—be that in a sincere or an ironic way.

Absolutely! I wouldn't dream of asking another to be my dude of honor!

What will the twins be called, Fnord One and Fnord Two?

It's your call, but I'd choose "Fnord" and "Dronf", so that you could get their attention both coming and going.

Yeah, I don't get the guys who don't swing a little chub on the side every now and now. There's nothing wrong in being a fat f**k who f***s fat!

A guy who once messaged me on OKC had "NO FAT CHICKS, CANT DEAL!" in his profile (and no, I was a svelte 55kg at the time). Safe to say I didn't reply to him.

It's alright to have preferences but you've got to be a little sensitive when expressing them. Overweight people are already bound to be deeply self-conscious of the role their weight plays in their attractiveness. Some seem to ignore this fact in favour of saying negative things (eg. fatty) and that's the part that always seems a little offensive in discussions like this. They probably deal with more hurtful rejection for their weight alone than you do for all of your...."issues".

I don't understand saying "no fat people" or "no short people". Then again, I'm one of those people who doesn't really have a "type". I've been attracted to just about everything.

-Alan Alda (My ultimate. He's even aged well!)
-My first crush was well-built, dark hair and dark eyes.
-Second one was skinny as, light blonde hair and blue eyes
-Then there was Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
-My first girlfriend was dark hair, grey eyes, chubby.
-My first long-term boyfriend was dark hair, blue eyes, overweight.
-Current crush has dark blonde hair, the brightest blue eyes you've ever seen and is very muscular.

Go figure.

Went out clubbing for the first time ever last night. When they started playing "Dr. Jones" and "5,6,7,8" I certainly felt 15 again!

well, your still young. wait until you get to the 30's then you might feel different.

Bill, you've had a date, and even had sex, even a girlfriend, how do you know what it feels like not to EVER have had one?

I don't. but from what I read from people who never have dated. they don't seem to be very happy with it.
and the one's who are happy with being singles are usually the one's that have a FWB or still are having sex,
or had tons of sex before.

I happy with being single, even though at times, it would be nice having another girlfriend.
But at least I gotten laid before, if I never had sex or a girlfriend, I would probaly be bitter.
so, yes I guess that kinda of answer your question.

To be honest, I don't enjoy being single either, but I'm still happy with it all at the moment.
And at least your honest too. I still have a chance, quite a good one. Who knows, maybe there are women who like bitter old men?

I can't help what I am/not attracted to and I don't think many orher people can either. Life is too short to date someone who makes you cringe to think of kissing them no matter their "personality" - I've been down that road and it ended quickly, ugly and with him in denial - so much so that he gave my number to his friends and has been having them call me, and I'm working on a felony telecommunications harassment charge.

I would just block their numbers when they call, but write them down first. Then call the Jehovah's Witnesses and tell them that these people have requested they be contacted about setting up a Bible Study in their homes. ;-)
