Hello Everbody,

It's me Nick again. Listen, I need to ask you guys a question. My psychologist told me to start reading books on dating advice. I was wondering, do you guys know of any great titles of books about dating advice? If you do, can you guys please suggest those titles of books about dating advice so I can look into it right away? Please let me know as soon as can because I have a lot to learn before I can actually start dating a girl. I will really appreciate it. Thanks. :) :)

Your psychologist potentially needs a slap.

I have to disagree with you my friend. The reason why for that is because if someone has dating problems or if they don't know where to begin when it comes to dating someone, psychologists are there to help you out by making recommendations on how to deal with dating problems like getting you to watch dating advice videos or reading books on dating advice for example. Does anyone else agree with me when it comes to this issue because I was asking if anyone knew of any titles of books about dating but it seems that this thread is going else where? Let me know. Thanks.

I'm probably going to have to request for a moderator for this thread if this gets out of hand. I'm not trying to get mad or anything but I'll request for a moderator for this thread if this gets out of hand.

I think you misunderstand me (seems par for the course today, so hey!)

So you say, psychologists are there to give you recommendations. Now, what did your psychologist recommend themselves? What books in particular?

If they didn't recommend anything at all...then how do you know that they actually know what they are talking about? Does your psychologist know about the minefield of dating advice there is out there, and the damage that the more extreme versions can do?

Hence my comment.

If I am working with a client, I will not recommend something that I do not know about. I will admit my own lack of knowledge in an area. I'll take the material and study it first. For me, anything else is unprofessional.

EDIT: Exactly a month ago, you posted a thread, saying that your psychiatrist was actually asking you to look at dating 'videos'. Then, about a week ago, you post a list of various pick-up artist links, and want comments...methinks there's something a little bit odd about this!

Let me explain. My psychologist not my psychiatrist told me to start reading books about dating advice because I'm getting to the point where she's helping me prepare me for my first date with a girl ahead of time so I'll be ready when that time comes. I used to have a psychiatrist until I realized that a psychiatrist wasn't the right type of doctor to ask for this type of advice so I decided to go see a psychologist because a psychologist has a better understanding when it comes to dating issues. Also, about those various pick-up artist links. The reason why I put those up was because I found these videos on YouTube and I figured that these links would help you and other people better understand what you and other people have to do in order to be successful in the dating world. Please let me know if this answer makes sense to you. Thanks.

Look. Listen, to me. If you have a psychologist and you have dating, I would urge you to talk to your psychologist about your dating and see what he or she has to say? Will my advice help you out a little bit? Let me know. Thanks.
