Yes, this thread is for real. Have any input on this issue?

I would think that raising children would be the most difficult thing as it is for most couples who have them.

Well, that's completely true. The reason why for that is because it's all about the heart and mind. Does anyone agree with me?

When and if aspies date who the heck do you think they date 99 percent of the time?

I'll give you a hint: its the 99 percent of the population who are not also aspies.

Well, that statement you made about 99% of the population are not Aspies is deinitely not true. The reason for that is because they're are other people who are dating someone have other disorders such as bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.

I think that you're saying this:

You're agreeing with me that aspies date people who are available to date, and you agree that 99 or 98.5 percent of those people are people other than other aspies- because because aspies are one (or one and a half) percent of the population. But not all non-aspies are neurotypicals. That there are other kinds of non-nts-like adhders, Willies, tourettes, bipolar, etc. But most people presumably are NT. So most people whom aspies date are still NTs. Even though it isnt quite 99 percent.

Which, strictly speaking, is correct. I was right about 'most', but not about it being as high as '99 percent'. I stand corrected.

Of course an Aspie can date an NT, though I agree that there will be some problems due to both sides perceiving things differently. Which isn't wrong.

Explaining that one has Asperger's and fully detailing at the start should help.
