Claudius? If I was going to go gay for a Roman emperor, it would be Trajan all the way, manliest of manly men. Julian the Apostate for a close second (I like intelligent conversation).

I tried to think of one and all I can come up with is Mr.Rochester from Jane Eyre.

Yes, of course it is. Objectification = the act of representing an abstraction as a physical thing

idealization = a portrayal of something as ideal

By saying that someone is ideal, one is saying that the person is the physical representation of an abstraction. So what?

So, that should indicate that the title of this thread could also be "Objectifying the Objectified Man" or "Idealizing the Ideal Man".

Just sayin'...

To make that even more offensive,if that is what you were aiming for, you should have said "brown noser," instead of heel sucker.Your insult,or whatever that was, just lacked that certain "zing."

He just occurred to me:

Craig Ferguson. He's kinda weird, but funny. I love the way he just rambles on about nonsense. I loved his interview with Krysten Ritter the other day where he told her he likes crazy women.
I need a man that likes a little bit of crazy. But I definitely objectify him. Watching from afar thinking "that's the quirky kind of man I want."
Or maybe it's just the Scottish accent... Maybe I should find me a Stottish man.

I met Craig Ferguson a few years back. I thought I might be intimidated by him, but he was lovely.
