what? where did your logic come from?

I agree with monkey4262, if there's no sex, there's no girlfriend/boyfriend relationship.

I don't personally think so.

I was brought up to believe that sex outside of wedlock is bad. I don't personally agree with this (although I still frown upon promiscuity), but it has left me with the opinion that sex isn't integral to a relationship. I feel like it signifies a deepening of a relationship, rather than the start of one.

I agree as well. Sex is what distinguishes a bona fide relationship from a banal friendship, or worse, a friend zone. It's an ironclad indication of the girl's romantic interest in the guy. (Not necessarily true vice versa, since guys will oftentimes have sex with any willing takers, regardless of not feeling attracted to them.)

I suppose an exception can be had for high school relationships, where lack of privacy and/or the school's abstinence policy can prevent sex from happening. But for anyone past high school age not living with parents, sex must happen to distinguish a relationship from friendship. I suppose far-right-wing Christians who are saving themselves would fall under this scope too, but in their case, long-term relationships end in marriage anyway, which means sex.

How can guys sleep with girls they are not attracted to? I've always wondered this. A guy has to get a boner before sleeping with a girl, a boner doesn't pop out of nothing.

Really? I am almost can't believe that.
You would get a boner from sexual flirting with this kind of woman?

over the net yes, in person idk, probably not from looks. But I'm more into sounds and words I guess. though could be cause that's mostly all I've got. I have a high sex drive :( like I said its irritating and embarrassing. Mind you I fell in love with a woman on the net and never got to see what she looked like.

That's a broad, f****d up way to look at it. Sounds like a whore perception.

If one wants sex but the other never, then it's not a relationship, heck not even a friendship.

Only if you think of sex as bad in some way. I think a sexual relationship is the definition of girlfriend/boyfriend.

I think that a lot of you are forgetting that a lot of guys and sometimes girls pressure their partners into sex. The other partner tends to give in just to keep their partner happy sometimes, even if they aren't ready for it yet. Mostly it's guys pressuring the girls into sex from what I have seen, so take that with a grain of salt if you would like.

Girls will do that too though. Just a reminder.
