Need to know more before I judge. Was this guy creeping on her? (Following her around, sending multiple messages, harassing her). Was the guy autistic? Not sure what I'm suppose to be seeing..

figured it was this. And yeah, if I was her I would do the same thing. She should be scared as the guy is clearly a psycho.

She's a country singer, also known for jumping from guy to guy.

I thought she was known for being bland and wearing dresses that look like Motel 6 wallpaper.

I'm not encouraging psychopathic behavior. All I am trying to say is that there should be more opportunity for non-famous people to date or marry famous people.

Probably another talent less singer with a pretty face I suspect :/ I do wonder how many of these musicians with a pretty face are auto-tuned and how many have legitimate talent ...

Also, one shouldn't have the selfish goal to want to become a celebrity (what are the chances, right?) just to have the opportunity to befriend or date someone, but even if their goals are selfish, that should be their personal problem and not ours.

And I agree with said advice.

This is in no way about her being a celebrity.

This is about someone not knowing propper boundaries and crossing the line repeatedly(no court order otherwise).

Any non celebrity girl could get the same restraining order against him if he was unable to take no for an answer and she felt threatened.

More likely this.

This is not a good story for making a point about dating celebrities.

The last thing any sane person should want is a real life "Notting Hill."

As for this guy, clearly he should be put in a mental hospital where there are no blue-eyed blondes present.

I find her music to be about as popish as it is country & I really like it

Doesn't Taylor Swift write and record songs after her breakups as well? I mean, hasn't she become famous for bashing exes in her song? "We are never getting back together" comes to mind. Not sure I would want to date someone who would likely bash me in a song if things didn't work out.

Before I had my current girlfriend I would of loved the opportunity to wtih Miranda Cosgrove but wouldn't of cared for a chance with any other celebs. I'm not sure how I feel about the general public having a chance to date celebs thou considering the creeps out there like that guy but lots of celebs have their issues too. I generally don't care who celbs date or don't date; weather they date celebs or not isn't important as long as they make it work & treat each other rite. The creeps shouldn't date anyone except for other creeps & they shouldn't have a chance to scare or harm anyone else but society isn't ideal of coarse :(

Of course I wonder what would happen to this thread if I did get my footy player in the end.

Everyone has a right to date Taylor Swift. But only if Taylor Swift also wants to date them.

If someone who wrote songs like that told me that we were "never, ever ever getting back together" I would immediately go out and celebrate.
