Sensitivity.

Others are open mindedness, honesty, humor and logical thinking.

I think I just named me when I'm at my best :) I think mutual understanding is crucial for a successful relationship, and that comes a lot easier if you have some common ground. It doesn't necessarily have to manifest in the same way though. For example, if you have trouble with loud noises and your partner with fluorescent lighting, you both have sensory issues and can relate more than someone who doesn't. Also, it's about values. An honest person probably values honesty in his/her partner as well. I don't see a dishonest and an honest person going very well together. And, it's about belief. "What I believe to be true in myself I also see in others", I think someone said once upon a time :)

I'm attracted to women who challenge me in some way, intellectually -- creative types. Somebody who's a bit offbeat, I guess, too. I'm also attracted to women who and appreciate nature as much as I do. And of course, a quirky sense of humor works for me.

As far as physical attributes, I guess an incredible pair of eyes, combined with an amazing smile turn me on the most. Karen Allen always did it for me!

I've never been attracted to "mainstream" guys - guys who wear suits, who are career-obsessed, who are into "getting ahead" in life.

It's harder to describe the ones I *am* attracted to. There doesn't seem to be any one "type," except that mega-intelligence and an offbeat sense of humor always seem to be part of the equation. Being kind and considerate of others is also a desirable trait.

Physically speaking, I do like taller men, since I am relatively tall for a woman, and it is quite nice when they are stronger than me. Other than that there are no "must-haves" but I have always been fond of facial hair and an overall kind of scruffy look. The GQ thing totally doesn't do it for me. :)

I always looked for strong teeth, well defined withers and their shots were up to date. Oh wait... I think I am in the wrong thread.

The character attributes are the most important for me: integrity, respect for others, compassionate values, generosity of spirit, honesty, openness. In terms of their ability to relate to me, the most important thing is that the person be a "tank filler" and not a "tank emptier".

The world is full of people - even on WP - who only know how to rain on your parade. I would only have a relationship with a man who knows how to smile on my parade. Happily, this has happened - at last!! !

Hello i'm new here but in the hopes of sparking a discussion on the topic of Attraction i ask you this: what do you find most attractive in a potential companion?

I am a heterosexual male aspergian and i find (cuteness) to be the most attractive quality in a potential companion but cuteness goes deeper than appearance because people are much more than physical beings there are many things that can be considered cute. Different people can perceive it in different ways. For me personally i find a female that is at least a foot shorter than me is very appealing with a fair complexion, long hair, and a fiery but gentle personality if there are any females that fit that description here don't hesitate to message me.

I think I fit your criteria. Too bad I'm gay. I personally like girls who are interesting, not condescending or patronizing and badass.

People who take things lightly. I tend to take things too seriously and worry too much so I guess it would be a nice match. They would get my worries away by their positive thinking and I would keep them on ground so they won't do anything too reckless.

However they also need to be understanding, open minded and... either intelligent or aware of their own stupidity ( any of those will do  ).

But whats the most important they need to be stubborn enough to make me love them. Since I am so slow in falling in love that most guys just give up.

I am attracted to goths or any other "badass" girls. I'm not really attracted to "the girl next door."
