^ Sounds like a great day actually, Cafeaulait. Though I think you mean pheasant, rather than peasant?

I consider myself pretty much uninteresting, which does hold me back socially. I have trouble deepening acquaintanceship to friendship.

What an alarming idea. We'd be talking about everything at about 80 mph, and the whole time I'd be thinking, wow, that chick looks insane, she's actually kind of scary and slightly Yoda-ish, but what she's saying is so interesting I can't stop talking to her because I HAVE THINGS TO SAY TOO.

I think we'd better go for a run, disperse some of the energy. And then split before she's suddenly had enough of people and gets really crabby, or gets contentious for no earthly reason.

A male version of me who was even passably attractive? Totally. Yes. Even though he'd be a chronic as*hole. Me me? Yeah, sometimes.

I feel as though I am pretty boring as well. I live in NYC and if you're not well off in terms of finances there really isn't a lot to do in terms of doing things. I try to just enjoy what I can which usually consists of walking around neighborhoods I find soothing or sitting in a cafe that also soothes me. Bars and people and everything associated with connecting people even though I desperately want to connect .... is terrifying.

In sum, I feel you.
