I can dance if it's choreographed, but other than that I tend to skank (you don't need to be a good dancer to skank and I'll skank to any kinds of music, or TV themes, or sometimes to nothing - my dad walked in and caught me dancing in the kitchen today, haha... I carried on regardless).

Funny tho

I'm guessing that wasn't much help, though, huh?

I don't dance. I'd make an ass out of myself if I did.

hmm.. there's no way to really explain how to dance. It's more about having and getting a feel for the music and rhythm. I've gotten less awkward and more confidant the more I've done it and do pretty well. It comes more naturally to some than others, but I would say confidance and practice would do you well.
My hardest thing is my arms. My body moves well, but I still usually feel really awkward with my arms and don't always know what to do with them. But I still love to go out and dance, feel the music, and have fun!!

I need the right music, but I'm alright.

I have rhythm and I do like to dance, but I still feel more comfortable when there's a scripted routine, verses freestyle dancing. When I have to make up the moves, it makes me feel very vulnerable. It reminds me of being part of a conversation where I'm unsure of how people will react to what I'm saying/doing.

Me too, but only at home.

I sometimes feel that I taught the world
to dance. I slide into a state which is beyond
the normal sensations of life entirely. No one
dances like I do, but there are hints of it in
ballet, tap, break dancing, moshing, jigs....

Just as long as I can be unfettered and alone.

i've never understood "dancing." It just doesn't make sense to me. At best, it seems, well, I don't know, silly. I don't see the point. I know people, hell, have friends that enjoy it. I just don't see why it is so enjoyable. Enjoyable to me is singing along to songs I know in the privacy of my own apartment, or speeding vehicle. Dancing, I just don't get it. I don't get the "why," so I don't get the "how." I just can't seem to process it, if that makes any sense.

I don't get what most people get out of it.
I sincerely doubt that it is much of what
I do. They barely move. They seem capable
of making sense.

When I started it up again, I was first looking
for girls. But I gave that up, and started looking
for death instead. Now, I just want the high. That
and the acclaim.
