Hi, everyone. I came to tell you that I'm not ready to have a boyfriend. I was desperate and boy-crazy. As a result, I was rejected, broke off three long-distance relationships, and failed at trying to find a guy. So, for now, I need to work on loving and accepting myself. Any objections?

I am sure no one will object. Maybe the trick is finding a balance between liking a boy and freaking him out by being overly clingy.

Maybe try getting to know some guys first, before jumping into a relationship.

That is probably a good idea. We probably do better in relationships when we like ourselves first.

It shouldn't matter all that much if you're ready to have a boyfriend. Once you feel that you're ready, then consider yourself ready.

I noticed that you like to write. Find a guy who enjoys poetry and writing as much as you do.

Also you never know when you might meet someone whom you really connect with. Someone who "gets" you? It could be 5 years from now, 1 years from now, who knows it could be 2 weeks from now.

As One D Erection once said, "people fall in love in mysterious wayz" Like these two random people who are totally not paid actors.

I think it's impossible to find a guy like that.

Yup that's why they call it TV.

But you never know when and where you might meet that special someone.

Lol. Why is this a topic? Do you want advice on how to handle this... or do you just want to tell your story, or...?

To find a guy who likes poetry and writing, or a guy like Dr. Who?

Why'd you have to ruin their name like that? Thanks a lot.

p.s. Ed Sheeran sang that, not 1D.

I dont think ill ever be ready to have a girlfriend.. Im simply too much of a failure at life and too socially ret*d to sustain or even begin a relationship.
Autism has made the only thing that I can see inserting meaning into my life simply impossible..

Good on you for looking after yourself. I don't want to date men anymore as it never works out. Who care what anyone else says . Being true to your self is important
