Think about the last time you were in a situation where you had to talk to people in a face to face kind of situation. When you talk with them, do u look at one eye, both eyes at once, or inbetween both?

I do not like eye contact so I tend to keep my eyes lowered, focused on the background or all over the room, or I stare at the area in between the eyes.

eye contact=a form of "staring"

And yes it's still staring even if you look away occasionally. If you don't believe me, then go around trying it on some random strangers.

Sounds like a good way to make sure your eyes won't stay for long in the proper shape for staring.

I work in retail so for me making eye contact is sort of second nature now. It's one of those things that you just can't give/receive advice on, you just have to practice it.
