I don't know. When I finally dated my long-time crush, in high school, I was in seventh heaven!! ! But, yes, the hurtful part definitely came when he broke up with me. Being an Aspie, I took it really hard. On the plus side, though, it made me more empathetic to the guys I later broke up with.

Oh, I know they're bad. I've had limerence. And when you have it, it's terrible. But honestly, I miss the drama. I miss having someone to obsess about. I can't really explain it.
