So I've used apps like Tinder and Bumble before and from what I've experienced, considering my looks and likes I'm not going to be finding a match any time soon...and they don't even KNOW that I'm an aspie. The worst thing is I'm seeing younger people on those services getting a lot more luck than I am. Regardless I'm wanting to know if any of y'all have used these services and if so have you had any luck in finding matches and have they been successful? I'm hoping I'm not alone in this, but if I am it's cool.

EDIT: What I look like:

You're certainly not alone. I only used Tinder actively for a week or so, but even in that time, I happened to get one unsuccessful match. "Unsuccessful" meaning that I chatted with the girl for one evening and never got a response to the message I sent her the next day.

Had that happen to me recently on Tinder. We were chatting pretty well one day, then I never heard from her again.

Tinder is not a reflection of the real world, and my advice would be to stay away from it. It will do nothing but destroy your self esteem.

I've seen an experiment that showed an obese woman get more matches than a male model.

Don't take rejection on a dating app personally. First of all, any guy has to talk to several girls before one talks back. Second, a lot of people on there are not looking for a long term partner, they want a hook up that night.
