I've been told I was "unconventionally attractive." I wonder if that is synonymous with beautifully homely?

Seems to me that might be the perfect place for trolls to gather, to defecate. Asking random people on the internet might not be the best measurement for accuracy.

It's one of those sorts of things where you "have to be there."

One really can't pin this sort of thing down. One can't take a picture of it.

One can probably find "bedroom eyes" in old movies with seduction scenes.

Attractive is pretty or beautiful or handsome not attractive is the opposite of attractive. It means they don’t at all find me attractive and could imagine kissing me.

I dont know you could see being told your not attractive as different the. Ugly it’s just a nicer way of saying it.

Let's apply some simple logic here.

If you view the phrase "not attractive" and similar phrases as synonymous with "ugly" but I view the phrase "not attractive" and similar phrases as non-synonymous with "ugly" then at least one person does not think "not attractive" does not mean ugly, and thus if I were to tell you that I thought you that I didn't find you attractive, I would not mean that I thought you are ugly.

So if you asked me out and I told you I didn't find you attractive, you would be incorrect to think I am telling you that I thought you were ugly.

Here is an example.

He is definitely not ugly by my standards or the standards of western society. In fact he's rather good looking. But I personally don't find him attractive as far as choosing a mate goes.

He's certainly not a "model" type. He's a pretty regular-looking guy.
