I'm a DJ and producer as well as an artist. Check out my artwork (instagram.com/harmandvongoldddart) and my music (soundcloud.com/harmandvongolddd).

Anyway, what are your thoughts about finding love at a rave? Do it or nah? I was thinking of it as I like music and the girl I like or whatever likes music as well and it's like a match made in heaven.

It depends on what you are looking for. Those types of places are usually filled with party girls, and the wild, fun loving types, but there might be a few that just like to go out and have fun every once in awhile.

can hardly imagine that kind of environment would allow you to sit down, one on one and really get a a chance to know the person.

too noisy. too busy.

maybe a one night stand.

I have never been to a rave, but I imagine those places are full of drugs.

I keep getting attracted to those type of girls yet I'm very introverted and want to produce most of the time.

I sure have been bamboozled in those one night stands.

Great place to find sex, drugs, and music.
Love and romance? No way.

I met my boyfriend at a rave, he’s a dj. We’ve been together for 9 years and are very much in love. Of course our rave scene was a little different than most with many people being programmers or engineers and the rest very nerd friendly. We were both into the sex, drugs, and techno when we were younger but moved away from it and grew out of it together. We had some good times  A lot of people met at those parties and many of them are still together.

Dance/night club. Most Americans don't use that term, though

I guess there's hope that raves are a good place for finding a girlfriend. Last time I met a girl at a Drum & Bass party, went out with her, and slept with her but then she gave me that "I don't have time for a relationship". Made me think raves were a bad place to find love given that I tried (am still trying) to replicate that success that night and nothing.

It would be too noisy. You couldn't hear what your love interest is saying.

Perhaps you could find love at a dance marathon. I saw a movie where this guy met this girl at a dance marathon. They nearly got married while the dance marathon was still going. Afterwards he shot her.

If I was young again and good looking, I would love to go to raves. Full of weirdos and hallucinogens. Everything I never experienced in my youth.

They weren’t a thing in my youth. I grew up in a conservative medium sized town.

Maybe they were, but I probably wasn’t cool enough.
