I get what you're saying about books, but I only buy books second hand and then take them back to the charity shop when I'm done. I also live right next to a library which is awesome. I can learn a lot more from a book than a work of art though.

You're not allowed to save? That sucks. Then collecting is a good investment. I'm on board now. If you really need to you can resell the coins.

Yeah I can only save 2,000
Including investments so I don’t tell them about the collection coins. I have 30z for savings that I’d tell them about I guess.
It’s sucks

2000 isn't that bad actually. I thought you meant you couldn't save up any money at all.

It’s nit much of anything, 4 car payments at most.

Middle class people make more then that in a month.

There are lots of that type of woman around....Shy, sweet, genuine.

They don't tend to show up on dating sites, though. They tend to be your friend's sister or something. Or, perhaps, someone you work with.

I don’t have friends, and when I did they told me I wasn’t good enough for their sisters or female friends for that matter.
Women at work don’t think I’m even good enough to wast time talking to.

I used to work in a job where I made that in 2 weeks but I didn't last long in that job ( it exposed all my social flaws ) and now I'm too unwell to work. Easy come - easy go

Still it would be enough to fall back on in an emergency. Or to save up and spend on a trip to somewhere different just to get some enjoyment.

Don't compare yourself to other people. You are very all or nothing in your views.

Work towards the things that bring you joy, not other people.

I can still enjoy a break in a small town bed and breakfast even though other people take trips to Paris and stay in the Hilton.

A "break," to a person in the UK, is a "short vacation" to an American.

I have managed for a very long time without medication. Hiding away from the world and staying at home and minimal interactions with the outside world. I have used exercise instead of medication. Medications side effects include: weight gain and excess sleep. I have been on anti-depressants and anti-psychotic meds and I hated the weight gain and have not used any meds for 6 years now. A few years ago I quit therapy, I was doing therapy on/off for many years but it was a dead end and I gave up on that too. I believe I can control anxiety, paranoia, psychosis, depression and delusions without medication and no therapy.

So how many minutes do these vacations last for?

As an intern I strongly expected not to even have a week off at Xmas. I wasn't prepared to have any time for friends or family.
