Why do others tell me I am wrong about “bad boys”?

You keep talking about "bad boys". Are you jealous of them?

I honestly don’t know the answer. It feels like I am going to get flack for either saying yes or no.

You are probably rightfully frustrated: I know I was when I would have women I dated run from me like I had leprosy, yet a few weeks later get into a relationship with someone I knew was very bad news and likely to be abusive without hesitation. Without wanting to be one, I certainly wanted to know why women in general seemed to stick to them like glue even when it was obvious they were bad news. In short, I realized that these were the type of women best avoided as there was little chance of forming a healthy relationship.

There are plenty of decent women but just like my wife but they tend to be invisible. In her case, there really is nothing that stands out: she is average height, average build, average hair, average clothes and other than looking exceptionally young and beautiful there wasn't really anything memorable when I first met her. I probably passed by her a hundred times before and felt zero attraction towards her. Even she fully admitted when she was younger she loved dating bad boys for the "thrill" but never remotely considered marrying one.

I understand where you're coming from with the bad boy thing. It's basically you saying women want something you've not got.

I feel like that about men. They only want whatever it is that I'm not. Young and pretty seems to be the key.

My siblings before they had kids and my father only cared about sex.
