Heh! Ragtime, my son is sitting with me today and when he saw your picture he very worriedly said, "He eat?" In his 22-month-old language that means, "Why does that dude have food all over his face?" (Your beard)

He calls Calandale "Peep!"

Anyhow, what I was going to say is that I don't think I could ever live someplace like Dallas or LA or NYC. It would really fry me to have to spend half my salary on clothing and a personal trainer just to fit in. I know a lot of aspies don't even care about fitting in, but I find that some amount of conformity and attention to appearances brings great rewards, including respect. I remember reading about a study that found that when a woman dresses nicely and takes care of her hair, men actually retain more of what she is saying. I don't mind a tip of the hat to that NT value (plus--let's face it--my future mate will appreciate it). But having to wear designer clothing, fake nails, and heavy makeup every day just to look "normal".... ugh! That would feel like slavery.

That's what the memory drugs are for.

 Ya, I do instinctively wanna wipe my mouth every time I look in a mirror, but I've gotten better reactions from people ever since I grew it. I had a full beard at one time. Shaved it shortly after 9/11, in order for greater luck during an upcoming job interview. It worked. My wife had long complained repeatedly about my beard. Then, when I shaved it off, she said she missed it.

I don't fit in here, but I was born here and my family's here. I often plot to move away to somewhere nicer.

I like beards. TheChosenOne has a beautiful fluffy multicoloured beard and moustache. I also like fur.

Maybe they're just all aspies, with typical aspie facial expression.

I am 6'1" and 200 lbs. I am medium build and have deep blue eyes, dark blonde hair that is turning grey on the sides, and medium chest hair, but none on the back. I am a Physicist and Mathematician who also likes to write computer programs. I am a Virgo and like long walks on the beach and quiet nights at home listening to music and snuggling on the couch or bed. A good game of Chess is always fun too! When I sweat, I actually smell good and have a tight round bum. I am athletic and continue to play competitively both Hockey and Baseball. I am an environmentalist, aka "Tree Hugger" and Equal Rights Activist. I have lots of money too, but am not a Republican! I will not date a Yankees fan or anyone who owns guns or supports the NRA. I am very misunderstood in this world and am seeking a companion. You need not look any further. :P Don't I sound like the perfect catch ladies?

There is this one tiny problem: I am married to a passive-aggressive b***h who uses our kids in her evil, twisted plots to bring me down.

All women want the same thing in a guy.

Big,

Thick

wallets.

For real through- they al seem to want tall dudes.
Us short guys can only hope for really hot midgets I guess.

Ha, I just came home from a date. The guy at the next table was out with a woman much taller than he was - and he was obviously smitten. Best thing was, he was wearing a T-shirt that said, "GIANT"

Of course girl who want guys who are "tall, dark, and handsome" but none of that matters if you are physically strong. I've more than lerned this the hard way.

Bull. I know women who are intimidated by
strong guys. And many who are sickened by
what overdeveloped muscles look like.

Yep. That's why, although I'm volitionally proceeding toward big muscles, I'll not go too far. Some women like being intimidated by the way their man looks, but most don't (at least consciously).

This seems like the perfect thread for this, so:

Ladies: In your opinions, is the guy in the right-hand photo
1) too muscular
2) just right
3) nicely toned, but could do with a little more,
or,
4) you'd choose the guy in the left-hand photo over the guy in the right-hand photo, all other things being equal?
My real question is about the first three options; I just added the 4th option on a whim, and for balance.
(And yes, both photos are of the same guy.)

Um, physically, well prefer a person to be in decent physical shape due to health issues that could come from complications of not taking care of one self. Overall I'm not horribly picky on appearance/height/weight but I am more picky on personality.
