So I have been contemplating what I really want and I have came to a conclusion:

In high school it would have been extremely easy for me to get a girlfriend; I had the looks and I did the sports so I could have basically have dated whoever I wanted but instead I decided to date no one.

In College, it is the same thing.

I realize now that I don't really want a girlfriend and I don't think I ever will want a girlfriend for a couple of years.

I guess all I really want is "Friends with Benefit" AKA Sex.

If I don't really care about half of my own emotions then why would I bother to care about other peoples emotions?

I wouldn't.

I think lots of guys my age(20-College Student) Neurotypical or Aspie feel the same way. In fact, like 90%. Relationships are a major pain the rear end!

lol!

That's what hookers are for, buddy.

I haven't slumped down to that level just yet.......

Being a college student now, I can say with 100% confidence that I have absolutely no urge to have a 'friend with benefits'. I personally find the idea of it rather shallow, disgusting, and a cop-out for not wanting to put out the work to actually have a meaningful relationship. Not only that, I feel like going down the 'friends with benefits' route is a step backwards for humankind. Maybe it's just me, but as beings (humans) with higher intellect, Aspie or not, I feel like we should be able to channel our base instincts into something more productive that won't have long-term consequences for us in the future.

And yes, believe or not, there is the possibility that joining in the whole 'friends with benefits' will bite you in the ass 10 - 20 years down the road when you're finally ready to be in a committed relationship, especially when it comes down to the self-disclosure process. There are men and women out there who frown upon 'friends with benefits' and will drop a potential partner like a hot s**t sandwich if they know their partner did engage in 'FWB' activities in the past.

There are consequences for every action we take, and this is no exception. Ultimately, I know people are going to do what they want, and it doesn't bother me as long they're not bothering me. However, I do want people to be aware that engaging in what I believe to be risky, reckless behavior will come back to haunt them in most cases.

GenericNameBrand,

You are absolutly right; actions all ways come back to haunt a person especially if it has to do with sexual behavior and if your a female. People are much more forgiving of drug and alcohol abuse.

And what is even worse is most people assume that women do not have a sex-drive; like we should not like sex. Okay, in my experience, that is how it is.

Fah. Past is past. I don't think I've ever formed
strong ties with anyone who was the least bit
inexperienced with sex - just with love.

To be honest, I'm more leery of being with
someone who's had a great love, than with
someone who's had a lot of partners.

In trouble with who? Your parents? :P Theres no crime in sexual fantasy, no matter who or what tells you otherwise. What you choose to do with it is up to you.. To be responsible, or not. The only way it can hurt you is if your not safe/cautious about it.

Only if you're really good.
Otherwise, you'll just have to
tolerate continual examples.

:?

How true you are; however, I do not want to fall into my sexual addiction again--I do very high risk behaviors. Ever heard of S-W-I-N-G-I-N-G, no I do not mean like on the playground; but, hmm...what an interesting thought.

Oh, my dear Geek,

Do please do tell; I was invited to one but never went. Or rather, several. I was actually involved in a local Swinger group and my addictive behavior was getting too risky. When one actually shows themselve half nude on the internet and does not care that others could recogonized on the street--one really risks their business reputation as well as their personal. So I quickly stopped.
