A woman in good posture, with the right scents can look very appealing. Dirt and sweat after hard work can make a woman look even more so, if with good posture and the right scents.

As for biting the lip and not showing emotion, not so much. Everything else I could care less about.

1. Standing Tall

As an "aspie" girl, confidence in most social situations was lacking in me and I hated most aspects about myself. I reached a certain depth in that loathing and finally.... snapped. I gave up. I decided my body was mine, my face was mine and even my personality was mine. I made the conscious decision to stop worrying about impressing other people.... and for the first time people were impressed. it was confusing to me until I realized that confidence is such a large part of attraction. I also found out that my awkward attempts at impressing others had actually been scaring them away.

2. True Grit

This seemed like gibberish to me until my boyfriend (at the time) informed me that he had a much greater respect for me when I ignored the pain from my heels (though I couldn't help but limp) walking with friends to the car after rocky horror, to find a huge popped blister on one heel. It still makes no sense to me why "sucking it up" is considered attractive, but I guess there's your evidence that at least one guy agrees.

3. Baseball Caps

I'm nothing close to sporty. Baseball caps don't necessarily denote true "fan-ship" anymore, especially in Boston and NYC. It's just style, and girls who pretend to like a certain team because it's stylish seem to be the opposite of what you're going for.

4. Software Savvy

I have a feeling that this was written by a computer geek. Just a guess. I doubt a "jock" would think his cheerleader girlfriend was hotter for deftly removing a virus from his laptop.

5. Sexy Shampoo

This has proven true endlessly, though I think half of it is pheromones, seeing as I've had a guy telling me my hair smelled great, even though I'd just been in the pool.

6. Understated Underwear

It's less "she's dressing comfortably so its sexy" and more the enjoyable idea of possessing the girl, shown through her wearing your clothing/boxers.

I am straight, but I would even enjoy looking at a girl wearing only a baseball cap...

Number 2 is very difficult for some of us. I often seem to have leaky and prickling eyes.

I will say that 5 drives me nuts. Nothing really seems to capture the real essence of closeness, particularly when things are getting heated up, than when she is sweating and there's that cloud of humidity between both of you - and in that of course the smell of her shampoo seems to radiate over any other smell. Damn right that's sexy, probably one of the reasons as a guy even I like to pick my shampoo's well, I'd like to give something back in that sense ;).

As for the rest yeah, most guys like women who are on a compatible page - being a bit more verile, opened to 'guy' things, and being independent as well as intelligent are huge turn on's. No one really wants a lap dog or someone who's needy just because, while we all have needs it just so happens that when needs are projected on someone the receiver gets drained fast. Relatrionships in general, aside from the intimacy, are really about two people helping to bolster each other in themselves, helping each other to bite their upper lip, helping each other to hold their heads up high and be strong - that's really the magic of good interpersonal influence because it adds to life, makes life better, makes life easier for both parties, and further builds mutual respect.

1. Standing Tall
Yes.

2. True Grit
Absolutely. Girls that cry about anything or scream at a f*****g pigeon annoy me. A girl should be sensitive, but we're the hypersensitive ones.

3. Baseball Caps
No.

4. Software Savvy
Yes. A girl who can use a computer is good, not that I'd mind helping them out. Hell even a minor level of conpetence would be good.

5. Sexy Shampoo
Yes. The smell of a girl's hair should be a beautiful thing.

6. Understated Underwear
ABSOLUTELY. The t-shirt thing is so hot. The hottest thing a girl can wear as far as I'm concerned is just a t-shirt. But boxers...girls in boxer shorts are put here by God to make me happy.

7. Dirt and Sweat
Well, not utter filth, of course. But her having got abit sweaty is a sexy thing. I think that's the subconscious link with the exertion of sex and why we also find a girl who's wet or greased up sexy as well.

8. A Few "Duh" Moments
A woman who thinks she knows everyone is annoying, a girl who never admits her mistakes. And honestly, a girl being stupid occasionally can be adorable. My last girlfriend was smart and strong, but occasionally would miss things, and it was so cute. That's just what we're like. I wouldn't call it a turn-on, though.

I never understood 7...but it can be true.

I remember now and then walking over to the store across the road for a pop while working on one of my cars years ago. It seemed like every time I did guys would have to stop and and start talking to me, a couple asked for dates 8O ...I'd stop over on my way out dressed up to go somewhere and no one would say a word to me.

Must be something about the smell of 30wt motor oil and wheel bearing grease that attracts some of them..and here, I just thought they needed a vision test.

8 is too. I'm not sure about 1. Not all of us exercise a lot and that doesn't make us any less worthwhile as people.

Only #1.

I like intelligence and knowledge but not limited to a specific topic.
