I liked this guy.
It was a crush actually.A big one.
I loved the way he looked, I loved his clothes, the way he talked, walked, smiled...
I mean, I never talked to him.He probably didn't even know I existed.
I would get this strange kind of happy feeling when he passed me by.
And I always turned back to look at him as long as possible.
I didn't do anything to let him know that i liked him.
I would just stare into his beautiful blue eyes whenever i got the chance.
When I realized that there couldn't possibly be anything between us I cryed.
I cryed myself to sleep every night.
Then there were the summer vacations and I spend (almost) 3 months without seeing him.
I totaly forgot about him.
And now when i see him at school again i still look up.
I look up into his eyes and i feel nothing.nothing at all.
has he or have i changed?all in all this story is kinda pathetic.
sorry if i made u bored.cheers

I think it's because you had a superficial crush on that guy and it went away because it wasn't fed.

When you saw him, it always woke up the 'thing you had for him' inside you and thus it 'feeds itself'.
Because you didn't see him for a long period, those feelings were never touched or woken and because of that, it diminishes and diminishes until there's nothing left.

A female friend of mine was in a relationship with a guy for about 4 months, when the guy went on a vacation for a month, she didn't feel anything for him anymore.
So don't think this makes you weird or anything as this is normal, also for NTs!

Well, it sounds almost like you got over him--or at least almost got over him. And if so that's a good thing if there couldn't be anything between you.

By the way, I love your avatar.

I think there's a lot to be said as well about unreturned love or attraction. If you aren't getting the same thing back from a person or you are but its impossible to get them to do anything with it - it tends to just run out of fuel and fall off. Sounds to me like either he just liked you as a person or could decide what he wanted, either way I think he's the one who lost out.

I've had similar experiences and its even crazier yet when you very rarely feel a real strong attraction toward someone (to where I think I got almost as depressed as you did over it) and the problem wasn't lack of interest on their side either, more like they'd show mutual interest but I could never get them to be consistent enough to even get them out to do something. Even if I had every part of me right down to the core telling me that she was awesome, that she was exactly who I wanted in my life, that I had a lot to give her and vice a versa, that I was extremely attracted, there's only so much hang time a person can take before either the time statute kicks in or before another person's flightniness or inconsistancy just makes it take a nose-dive.
