Are you going out on Saturday nights? How often?

i'm spending the afternoon and evening with my girlfriend, i don't get the chance to go out with her as often as some others might, so i was very much looking forward to this. she's 17, and very busy.

more often i spend saturday nights on here. if not, studying, doodling, or driving aimlessly in my old camry.

no airbags or anything like that, just man and machine going at it.

it's a waste of gas, but i like driving through the country back-roads i live so close to, and never get a chance to see otherwise.

I usually go to play soccer at around 19.00 and that's it.

It's called FOOTBALL. Don't use this term, use the real term.

why at 19:00?

Most of my socialising is done over breakfast.

I personally think socializing seems like a protective factor. I make you be more appealing, and helps you learn social skills plus be more confident. The difference between someone with Asperger's who doesn't have friends and the one that does would be immense.

I think I embody a sort of middle ground you could say I have one friend at the school I go to and a few others but that is about it.

Boo why do you bring these posts up just out of interest?

No. I cherish my weekends to much. Most Saturday nights, I utilize for cooking, creating new recipes, and/or baking a cake, or some pastries of sorts. I much prefer being creative, listening to music, and being otherwise, productive, than 'going out', per se.

But, it would be nice to have someone to do such things with, of course, and, I will experience momentary feelings of intense loneliness, at times. Yet, I'm not willing to sacrifice the limited time I have for enjoyment of life.

I have, however, recently joined a hiking group, which is serving it's purpose for both, hiking/outdoor ventures and social interaction of sorts. Apart from occasional job-related interactions, this is it, in terms of engaging in a social context.

Go...out?

I either stay in my dorm and use my iPad or go home and use my iPad.

I go out most weekends. But I find it boring and a waste of money half the time. I live above a pub and I also own another bar.

I usually work on Saturday's but if I didn't, I'd most likely be home hanging with my roommate's watching movies or working on one of my own hobbies. maybe even see a movie or have a friend over but I usually enjoy my weekends just staying in.

Lately not much, almost not at all.

No. Netflix and cuddles with husband on the couch. Sometimes followed by sex.
