im a highschool sophomore diagnosed earlier this year. i guess i need some advice-there's a girl in my school who i think likes me. what should i do? how does one hypothetically go about asking someone out in this situation? i've had a relationship before, but i had known the other person for like 4 years before we got together, so it was a little easier. i haven't known this person for quite as long (since the beginning of this school year), so i don't really know what to do. help!

I've found that a simple "Hey, would you like to go on a date sometime?" seems to work pretty well. It's short, and to the point.

Go up to her and say, “Hey baby, if I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?”

...oh yeah, it helps if you wear gold chains and polyester and show lots of chest hair. Chicks really dig that sort of thing.

PS
or just do what cyanide said.

Don't forget the gallons of cheap cologne and you need to get yourself a convertible from the 80s.

Gallons? 8O

I'd say a single bottle of Hi Karate would be sufficient.

Don't go overboard and write her a 20 page love letter or anything. Even romantic relationships start off light and casual. Except in China. But whatever.

"Hey, I've been at the wrong place at the right time so I would like to say that I think you're cute and I would like to know you better."

OR If Girl is Alone:
"Hey, may I join you?"

also, if she likes almost anything you say will be the right thing. if she doesn't like you, it will be hard to convince her otherwise

I've never actually asked a guy out--- they've done the asking for me. I wouldn't know how to proceed.

Damn...I've got like twenty "poems" stapled together 'cause I cannot choose which one to give to her; that's a little overboard?

I've never 'asked out' anyone in my life. And I never will.
I find girls terrifying.

Wait until after they say they love you,
and put it off for a while.

Well, now you know that's not the attitude. Do what I do: stumble your way through asking someone one out and then retreat into a darkened room to plot bloody vengeance on the world when they inevitably reject you.

Fun for all the family!
