just a question to help me out. How many of you want to be in a relationship? Have you ever been in one? Was it hard? Let me know! ^^

Yes, but I would rather be single than be with the wrong person.

This is a good question. I had a girlfriend for more than 3 years, I have had different friends, but the more I become indipendent and gain confidence in myself the more it seems to me that, deep inside, I DON'T want significant relationships, I'm just dropping people on the way, the things I enjoy are all things I do on my own, people just seem to confuse and disturb me, I can handle them quite well right now, but social interactions often feels just like a duty, not a pleasure or something I actively seek. I'm still open anyway, I'm still developing, so I still don't know for sure what I really want, we'll see.

I would love to be in a relationship with the right girl who understands what I go through.

Never been in one myself, then again I was as unattractive as they came in High School just three short years ago....about 100lbs overweight, didn't shower daily, didn't shave daily, horrible fashion sense, hair needed to be cut, etc...

-80lbs, a haircut and hygiene improvements later my best friend and her mom confidently call me cute, an improvement at the very least. I still have a negative body image in my head so I have the confidence of the man who was made the decision to allow Challenger to fly. No real reason to be confident so I'm not and thus don't try.

Same here. Unfortunately girls that would be right for me are taken for the long haul or otherwise not interested.
I was in a relationship for nearly six years.

Not really for the time being. It seems to me that relationships are much different than what I thought they were, and I have to come to terms with that before trying to find a relationship.

Depends how you define want. I don't want to be in a relationship, but I voted yes, because it's hard coded into my DNA to seek a relationship, and as a 19 year old hormones are too potent to ignore.
So, my answer? I want to be in a relationship, whether I want to or not.

Only for the right reasons with someone capable of being rational and logical consistently.

Do you want to be in a relationship?

Nope, probably not.

Have you ever been in one?

A few.

Was it hard?

Very.

As much as I want to, I don't know if i can... I've been burned so many times that I've become a cynic in this area... Only if there was a woman that would take that first step, and therefore give me room to heal this shattered heart...

oh lord I'm going into poetry now...
