Have you tried Weight Watchers? I'm not trying to be mean - it's the one thing that I have found that consistently works, as long as you follow the plan.
Really, you should be eating more, not less. You mentioned that you eat so little that you are hungry between meals. You need to try and eat smaller meals, and try for 6 small meals (pairing protein with whole grain carbs/fiber and high water/fiber content fruit and veggies). This will keep you full. I lost 30 lbs in 12 weeks earlier this year by doing Weight Watchers. And, I didn't really exercise - at least nothing formal. I did try to walk more and be more active in general, but I didn't do any hardcore gym workouts. WW also allows treats - they just have to be in moderation, and figured into your overall totals (they use a Point system). That way, you don't feel deprived. If you restrict yourself too much, pretty soon you're going to crash.
And, above all, find a better Dr. You should be checked for thyroid problems, insulin resistance/diabetes and possibly sleep apnea (yes, sleep apnea - overweight people have issues with it!). I have it, did all the tests/sleep studies and have to use a lovely CPAP (positive airflow breathing machine) at night- it looks like hell, but I sleep so much better. It's so hard to lose weight if you are tired/not getting enough sleep or not getting good sleep.

That;s not what I am saying at all. Everyone has there preferences. I don't get why this girl is belly-aching about guys not having preferences to date fat girls when she has her own preferences. Just calling her out on that.

You could have been at least a little more respectful about it instead of going for a total beatdown over it. Thats what was really getting to me. Ive at least tried to say some productive things that could help her. it is up to her whether to actually listen to them or not. Trust me. Not everyone thinks the same, nor they should. variety is needed for a balanced society. Maybe the fact she is bellyaching right now is because of the fact that hostile comments towards her just cause her to have a meltdown and withdraw in a way. Remember, it is a forum for those with ASDs after all. Gotta try to make people as "comfortable" as we can for them, and constantly beating back at an individual who wants help just makes things worse.

True. But I read through her earlier comments before I posted and she needed to be called out. That's all. I am not going to apologize for that, but I've said my piece. Your right, its up to her to follow the advice she's recieved or not, though I strongly doubt she will.

The thing is though constantly harping about it over and over again just causes problems. The best thing to do is to just point it out once. If they notice they notice, if they don't they don't. After that its just best to leave it alone because there is absolutely no point in beating around a dead horse.
