Am I ugly?

MR20,
Have you not yet realized that by asking this question (and others like it), you are opening yourself up to abuse and ridicule by people who could not care less about your appearance, but who do enjoy seeing you post about how much you think it sucks to be you?
If you are not prepared to deal with such people, then may I suggest that you either refrain from posting such questions in Love & Dating, or instead post them in The Haven, where the standards of posting are more favorable for you?
I hope that you do not see these questions as attacks, as they are not intended to be such. Instead, I hope that you will at least try to understand that those who make posts that figuratively say, "My Life Sucks - Kick Me" will be figuratively kicked - swiftly, severely, and frequently - and that there are trolls waiting all around for just such an opportunity.
Please do not feed the trolls.

Seriously, stop trying to get us to cheer you up and go to a shrink.
In your OP you said you want people to be honest with you, but everytime someone is honest you manage to twist what he said into something negative.
Earlier in this thread you stated that you where suicidal. I don`t think that if you`re suicidal you`ll go into the open with it WITH YOUR PICTURE so people can track or recognise you. You`ll only do that when you actually WANT help but you don`t want help because all you do is indirectly bad mouth people.
Also why you ask us our opinion on your looks if your 100% convinced you`re ugly and are not open to our critism/honest opinions?
My honest opinion: Yes you are ugly, on the INSIDE, there is NOTHING wrong with your appearance, really. And even though you`re inside is ugly, its NEVER to late to change YOURSELF.
Like i said before, see a shrink.

*cough* well, that was... direct... Not saying you are wrong though...

to the OP-
my dear MR20, would you rather look like this-
when i was your age this was me. AFAIC, it's a matter of 6 or one-half-dozen of the other. IOW if i looked more like you when i was a 20-something army recruit [instead of my gangly dweebish self] i likely would have been the recipient of a bit more respect. people therein who looked like you were often my bosses, the sergeants and such way above my buck private self. appearance-wise you wouldn't have looked out of place. so be more appreciative of the way you look, it could be much much much worse. IMHO you look loads better than these poor folks-
god made all kinds, so if i'm not like brad pitt and you're not like billy-dee, so the hell what? we all are the way god made us, and since we ARE made by god, we each need to take better care of ourselves as best we can. part of that is to stop wanting people to be mean to you by inviting abuse [in the name of "honesty" or whatever] on forums such as this one. you see yourself as much worse than you are, and dwelling upon your pain in the way you are only invites more of the same pain, that is the universal law of "like begets like." so please STOP IT
concentrate your attentions instead on the parts of you that you CAN LIKE, even if it may take effort, as it did with me. if i could learn to love me, you can learn to love you, and you SHOULD!
