There is some truth in that comment, but there's also a lot of untruth as well. Some women think they deserve the world... in which case, you ignore them and they carry on being single and being disappointed.

Just based on observation of people in real life and television. Besides "average" looking means it's just the norm and not positive or negative.

if that many women had such ridiculously high standards, they would all be single. and they are not, so it is illogical to imply they are overreaching. some men and women are never satisfied with who they can get, but trying to say it is the majority is silly.
