Lol, the sketch raises too many questions.

If she had a guy would her 'war room' be less of a mess or least be dirty-dish free?

No, it would not. She will occasionally go on cleaning rampages..every few months, where she scolds him for not being as good a cleaner as she is and her room will revert back to it's natural state within a weeks time.

Assuming she has AS, it's not all she wants to do but she loses sight of that when she engages in her special interest, which seems to be watching videos of some type of...rodeo? Besides, getting dressed is such a chore, especially with those damn sock seams. Though she has a tag so sock seams might not bother her.

Between firings.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:

Yes, she talks about the different types of dirt they use in rodeo arenas while you listen and she occupies herself of thinking what other interesting rodeo dirt fact she is going to tell you next while you're talking.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:
Can she hold at least equal with me in more areas than not?

Probably.

As neither of you actually listen to the other, yes.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:

Yes, as neither of you would have any idea what the other person's tastes outside the occasional RPG were.

NT men, contrary to the stereotype, actually tend to be quite neat...at least when they're not married, and get fed up with messy women fairly quickly when they have to live with them.

It really depends on the individual, some can be extremely neat, some can be . I definitely think it's to do with the environment you're raised in and to do with good parenting. I'm not NT and I'm extremely neat, everything has to be how I exactly how I left it and books, clothes have to be separated into categories and shelves. Actually I've been called unusual for being a young person who is so tidy.

Perhaps she was close to leveling up and far too immersed in the game to tidy the plates and once she levels her character, she will clean her plate. We certainly don't know the full story from the sketch.

My last two previous girlfriends were gamer girls and they loved their role playing games. It was much more content with them gaming on a Friday night over going out to a nightclub. Both of them were in extremely good shape, attractive and easygoing.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:

Yes, of course, I have a female friend who is a gamer and plays games such as Dragon Age and she's studying to be a brain surgeon, does fashion shows, drives and maintains an active lifestyle. I'm a gamer and I'm studying to be an Architect, I spend 5 days a week working out in between finding thousands of pounds to pay course funds and for food, supplements, lodgings and driving. I even go to gaming conventions and still find money for gaming and tattoos, gaming is therapeutic for me, I don't know how I'd cope without it. In fact, a girl that is a gamer is more likely to be intelligent than the average person.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:

Most certainly. A girl who can talk about enchanting weapons and slaying dragons is much more of a turn on than a girl talking to me about nightclubs or the latest reality TV show.

techstepgenr8tion wrote:

Not really but I don't know many 21st century girls that are interested in talking about politics. If so, they generally turn out to be pseudo intellectual or too politically correct for my liking.

Of course, gamers have other interests too, in fact a fair few of the gamers I know tend to be techies or have better jobs than the average person.

Boring moderators are boring. Why not just move the thread to the adult section if a photo of someone with no "private parts" (using that term in case naming them specifically is too much for this forum ) even showing is so terrible?

No graphic image is allowed at wp regardless of the section(its on the rules).
Alex is probably concerned about allowing such images here and this board diverging from its original intention(which is to help those with as).

Honestly I dont see how having those images here would be helpfull to achieve the intention posted above.
However if you´d like to point out how having said images would be good to help members on a greater level we´ll pass your ideas to alex and he may change the rules.

Sunshower, we need a naked back pic to compare.

I was just thinking she looked uncannily like me, right down to the sticking out tag and forgetting to finish dressing (due to being scatterbrained) but I wasn't going to say anything :hmph:

Now I am thoroughly freaked out lol :pale:

^ I should say with the exception of the dirty dishes, I'm pretty OCD about foodstuffs being not disposed of properly.

Maybe I shouldn't be replying to this full stop...

and btw, it doesn't even need to be stated but the naked pic isn't happening.

ok, so posting that picture was against the spirit of the rules. Then how is the OPs picture allowed since its literally the same as the one i posted? Just because its a cartoon its ok? Is that why it was ok for a member not long ago to post a cartoon flashing her breasts? Where does that end before someone posts tentacle porn? Or how a member had an avatar of a native woman topless? Well maybe pictures arent ok, then what about all the talk about fetishes and bdsm in this same thread to the original picture? Im just curious as to the specifics of why that image was removed, because as you and I both know the WP rules are too simple in meaning leaving double standards to arise in their enforcement

The image didn't actually show anything, how the hell is it "graphic"? I've seen worse on shampoo ads shown in the middle of the day on national television FFS. And I actually have.

No offence, but I don't get it

People in adult autism issues forum have been posting pictures of their breasts, belly buttons, bums, backs and even hairy feet and armpits. That picture posted showed absolutely nothing inappropriate and far less than some members have posted of theirselves. As far as the topic goes, how could any post be more relevant to the topic as a "confirmation" that the silly stereotype has a truthful point. If the cartoon picture in the OP is appropriate, IRL version of the very same picture should be as well. The picture insults no one.

People in these forum are freely talking about sex, bdsm, nudity and making jokes about any taboo topic. So far I haven't seen any mods getting involved to point out what on Earth My Little Pony characters have to do with the OP.

Numerous members on this site have self esteem issues and BDD. I support the idea of free and liberated atmosphere. If certain kind of humour or my right to my own body is not allowed for me because I happen to have AS, I will protest. I respect Alex, but I am not here to promote his image to the outside world, I'm here as a young Aspie concerned and interested about similar issues as other people here.

There werent any complaints until last week.
Last week there were complaints about an avatar that was too graphic and we are trying to keep a closer eye on what might be seen as offensive.

Breast pictures... were posted at threads titled hot aspies and pictures threads/autism calendar(or something of that sort) and members there are expecting to find something like that.

This was posted at L&D and plenty of members that are just looking for an interesting discussion on standards(which is what this thread was supposed to be about)dont need to see an image thats unrelated to that if said image breaks the rules.

We are trying to turn a blind eye towards BDSM... in public sections as long as the discussion doesnt get too graphic. ie: you can discuss why you may/may not be attracted to bdsm but you can only do a detailed explanation of what acts you like... on adult.

If you wish to talk about BDD you can do so at adult/other websites. However we are trying to make other sections as family friendly as possible.

If we went by your logic since we recently allowed a few members to post a picture about crashing babies until a consistency of skittles is achieved a member could do a real life version of that image and it wouldnt be against the rules(yet we both know that the first one is a joke and the second one takes the joke too far).

As hyperlexian previously stated theres a certain thing about considering bare skin suggestive and if you wish you can open a topic to discuss that(preferably at adult).

Nobody complained about the cartoon flashing her breasts and we cant keep an eye on everything thats posted. However there were concerns about your image and several mods agreed it was best to remove it.

As for MONKEYS avatar rules are left to be interpreted within circumstances and right now there have been quite a few complaints about certain pictures from those that are in a higher position than any of us(hale´s avatar was removed and no mod could do that) so we are trying to get rid of them for a while until some time has passed.

In that case I believe we can reach a compromise. For those who are interested in the IRL recreation of the OP picture, MXH has posted the original picture to the appropriate thread: (age over 17 required in order to get to the forum)

http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp4162395.html#4162395

And we all can hopefully be happy and live in harmony :)

I dont see any issue with that considering that a similar picture of you from a shoot was allowed sometime ago.

spongy, thank you for explaining while i was abed.

there is definitely more leeway in Adult than in Love & Dating. if anyone is ever uncertain about what would be acceptable to post in terms of graphic images, please ask a moderator.

Lilya, the last time you wanted to post a picture of yourself in a thong, you did ask... and i said no. so i am not sure why you thought it would be ok now.

and if anyone feels we have missed a transgression on a thread, please contact a moderator when you see the rules being broken, or post on the moderator attention thread in WP.net discussion. thank you.

Good to see the pic reposted in the adult section. Just goes to show how prude this forum can be if a picture showing nothing private but the skin of someone's back is considered "graphic". As I said, I've seen more in shampoo ads shown in the middle of the day on national TV.

Thumbs up!

I agree that it's more appropriate to keep pictures involving semi-nudity in the adults section, as in spite of having a "free spirit" atmosphere the other forums are accessible to under-17's, so some censorship is necessary.

Lilya, it is a beautiful picture of you, you should never feel ashamed or insecure about your body.
