Be glad you atleast had one. I was met with failed speed dating sessions, refusal by a dating agency, foot dragging on Meet Me, and zero responses on OkCupid.

^ You think that's bad? That's luxury compared to what I've been through.

We used to have to get out of the lake at three o'clock in the morning, clean'the lake, eat a handful of 'ot gravel, work twenty hours a day at mill for tuppence a'month, come home, and Dad would beat us around the neck with a broken bottle, if we were lucky!

That's what most redneck kids get growing up.

I bombed on dating as well. Had not one date this past year but to be honest, I really stopped caring. On the other hand, my career earnings have raised dramatically so I got to take the good with the bad and focus on the good. Would I be happier if I had a girlfriend but was poor as s**t and worked at a supermarket? Probably not.

given a choice between riches and nobody suitable to share them with, and poverty but with a proper mate, i'd choose the latter hands-down.

I'd rather be alone with my millions.

Millions are certainly better than soul suckers.
