He can’t move from his area. He only works part-time in the library, and his parents are his SSI payees.

The area isn’t all that bad, though. It’s not Hick City. It’s not as progressive as Austin, though. It’s more like a suburban area with a suburban sort of conservatism. His county did vote less, in percentage terms, for Trump than almost all the surrounding counties except Austin’s county.

My opinion is that he should move forward. And forget the crap of the past.

Middle aged women develop a rather thick skin in order to go through the glass ceilings they have to break through and so often come across more hard nosed and authoritarian than their male counterparts. Ask somebody who has worked with middle aged women for 30+ years (hint)....

For every step a male staff member progresses a female staff member invariably will have to make three or four strides. Stop playing the victim.


For what it's worth, it's likely he's not working with the women you describe, instead the one's who wouldn't handle that environment and went somewhere far more stereotypically female-majority and now Marknis is the interloper who's easy to exclude. It's not as though power structures never behave differently when their dynamics switch or anything. ;)

Among things, women fitting the personality type he describes certainly exist, that's basically the majority of my mom's peers in her workplace. They're just as bad for bullying as middle-school kids are.

I wouldn't doubt that he might be experiencing workplace bullying and it's really unfair to start from the presumption that he's at fault. I can't claim I've ever really seen Markis play the antagonist in interactions, so while he does possess some traits that might attract bullying or make others unsympathetic, I doubt he's done something to deserve to be bullied.


There's hundreds of pages of threads dedicated to helping this self-declared victim. If you read all of them (I unfortunately have) you will realise he thinks the world revolves around him.


Yet you keep reading my posts. :roll: I never once declared myself a victim which is another of your assumptions and lies about me. Has it also ever occurred to you that I wouldn’t “abuse” you if you kept your mouth shut about me and didn’t f*****g reply? It’s not rocket science.
