No most of you seem just as conceited and superficial as NT's it's nice to have standards and all though I can't help thinking you guys should take what you can get.....

Gut instinct tells me that's not a bad way to be both parties "settling" . Perhaps the marriage failure rate figures would be more favorable than those who marry for "love" it couldn't be any worse could it when one in two marriages end in tears . :?

Not that I like to rely on my gut (looks in the direction of W.) I suspect if he hadn't over indulged on roast, mashed potato and pumpkin pie with ice cream and cream! all while washing it down with Kentucky bourbon , America wouldn't be in the mess it is today!

May be if he instead went RAW , raw squash spaghetti marinara, raw coconut milk shake, raw chocolate cake (walnuts, cocoa powder, dates, vanilla extract, avocado , agave nectar and sea salt . ) America would be not be in the mess it is in today!

Actually I'm thinking of going raw after having my 1st raw chocolate cake the other day , satisfying sensual, healthy , and guilt free. :D

I'd date another Wper. Why not? After all we'd have something in common. An AS friend of mine has found success mainly by meeting and finding girls who have problems. People who have problems may be more accepting of me. Thats what i'm hoping anyway.

If they lived within a reasonable distance (about 200 miles), or were living in Chicago where I visit my brother from time to time, I'd consider it.

I have done so in the past. However, I have decided that it is entirely impractical to date someone who lives outside my geographical area.

I think the negative attitudes toward Christians and Republicans is what's stopping me.

Probably, if one interested me and was within a few miles of me. She would have to be female, though.

Well, to be fair, both groups earned those negative opinions fair and square. Hard to like people who are willfully ignorant, hateful hypocrites who destroy their own communities and then blame everyone else for their egregiously unethical behavior and whine about how no one likes them.

I actually got hit on a couple days ago by a WPer. I don't know if she was being serious, though. In any case, I rejected her because people I meet on the internet might be ugly (yes, I am very shallow).

I sent a totally polite PM: very preliminary, respectful, absolutely sincere - and nothing even remotely suggestive, much less overtly sexual.

In both cases I was astonished by the ferocity of the reply - to paraphrase a little bit:

"LISTEN, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HOOK-UP, YOUR CHANCES ARE ZERO - GOT IT?"

They are probably used to dealing with guys here who are sex-obsessed and objectify women. I don't remember your posts very well, but you may have started a thread somewhere that gave the impression you were desperate to get laid.

I would be interested in friendship connections with other WPer's anything more serious wouldn't work for me at the moment. Location wise my dream at this time would be to meet someone to ski with and go to a movie etc. :)

In recent days, I have noticed less and less of said attitudes, so that's good.

I would only if: *we hit it off on this site and through text before meeting *well groomed/polite and *they lived in a surrounding area of where I live[/i][/quote] ok and *if they didnt do something like hug me or otherwise have physical contact when its inappropriate {too early}

or wouldn't at all.

Man, I never get pm's where someone's just hitting on me! :(

Ok, I got one, last year like in April. But since then nothing. It's like a flirt drought in here.
