nope, not referring to you..

Unfortunately I have had ample opportunity to hone these points and quickly recall them. It generally comes up every time a woman asks me why I'm single, since as so many of them like to point out, I'm attractive, intelligent, and well spoken. I'm simply not what they want. Fair enough. It only creates a problem because they are what I want. I try not to be bitter about, but some days it's harder than others.

Right. I was bitter to a greater or lesser degree at the thought that none of my intelligence or talents or interests meant anything to many people, because I took up the "wrong" amount of space.

I'll be the last to say that any person can't find love. Or that they don't deserve to. If you find some one who likes you for you, then more power to you.

I'm not fat anymore, but the person I'm with now loved me just as much when I was.

Congratulations.

Nothing really else to say. I am really happy that you found some one who liked you regardless.

It's just not something that works for everyone.

That is cool - I am glad you have someone who makes life easy on you! We all need someone who can understand where we're coming from, sympathize, or ask questions to help figure things out. What do you two do for fun?


One of his most favorite things to do is online gaming and because of his love for it I have gotten into it too. He bought me a seperate laptop just for gaming and a really cool head set that I can either wear wired or wireless. Me and him play RPG games and he is currently trying to teach me how to fly world war II fighter planes in a world war II flight simulator game. and we also like to watch tv together, he is my favorite tv watching partner, he gives some of the most hilarous commentary about what we are watching.

I don't have a girlfriend and life is good. I may not know that much about love but I do know that my values in women are just as important. Before I had standards, then I thought I had to lose them so I could be loved and then I brought my standards back, still have them now.
