Hi Raleigh, Thank you. I made a request to Adamantium to delete my post, actually, because I have been anxious all morning, due to posting about myself. I want to cry that I cannot delete it. I feel as though all of my humility is lost. I am so sorry. I don't want to make a mess of your thread. Thank you for your kind words and interest. I will write later about my sewing and what I am creating, as I am on a short break, presently.

[I took care of this for you. We don't usually delete posts when others have already responded to them, but I don't think anyone can object to this! You should not have to suffer anxiety over such a thing. I hope you feel better soon. --Adamantium]

^ I'm sorry.
I thought what you wrote was lovely, as always.
There's no shame in being awesome.
But I do understand how you feel. :(

I believe in people knowing they have nice qualities and are geniuses at things--as long as they don't lord it over other people.

Seriously, don't feel bad, Britte.

You're allowed to have many talents.

I wish I had more, actually.

I think I'm fun-loving, creative, hardworking, and sensitive, as well as curious about trying and understanding new things (as long as I have my comfort zone at home). I'm also a good cook, an active reader, and good at fixing things.

That's just the mainstream boring-bozos, but there are plenty of people who don't think that way at all. Personally, I hate sports and one of my requirements for dating someone is that they aren't a sports fan/meat head. When you find the right girl, she will think you're amazing! But, you need to love yourself first, and you need to think highly of yourself, in order to be receptive to any love that may come your way.

I don't get sports. I simi understand baseball and go to a local game once and a while. They'll really long though and I work nights so won't get to do it again.

Every day at work there's a football game on and everyone is so into it and like what teams winning. I'd rather keep watching the food or lifestyle channel but I'm over ruled. I try to pretend to not be against it out of fear of yet another reason for being disliked by coworkers.

Seems to me sports creates a lot of rifts, so much hatred just because someone likes another team. Though u see this I. Video games and guns even, perhaps people are just hateful in nature. Sad. I don't like to be competitive. I don't like the feelings it creates.

None of those seem like personal qualities.

I would consider "I don't get sports" to be a personal quality.

I get sports, and I'm okay. I sucked at sports, but I felt relaxed watching them.

Well physically, I wouldn't be kicked out of bed for eating crackers. But that is luck of genetic lottery.

I am loyal, supportive, enabling. I am a good cook. I'm faithful. I do not have to have my hand held in every aspect of household maintenance though I can get burned out. Iim smart enough. I have high IQ even after brain damage but never really ever reached any "potential".

I am not overly clingy though I am territorial of the small amount of QT I require. I am generally cheerful. I am considered a good friend to those that count me as one. I have only in rarest occasion ever held a grudge, I am accepting of differences and departures of mainstream even if the direction is one I would never go, as a rather conservative and traditional sort.

And if my hobby pursuits are aligned or at least compatible that makes me muy sympatico choice of mate.

I've been strongly upbraided for bringing crackers into bed....but never thrown out!

No, I meant that other people are silly for getting into arguments over things like sports. Sorry, I should have been more clear.

One I think is desirable for sure!

I enjoy playing some sports and i used to love lots when i was younger. I don't really like following sports, especially stuff like football/soccer. It seems more like supporting one company over another for unconvincing reasons. I'm not really one for shouting and cheering at stuff in a crowd, or on the tv. I guess it can give a sense of purpose or identity to some people. If you love a game, or how people play, then supporting is cool, as its kind of natural, if you support because it makes you feel good, thats not a club i want to be part of.
Sorry this post is kinda off topic, and also kinda patronising, i could have worded it better!

I enjoy playing sports. I understand your feelings about the corporate nature of sports.

I can't help it....watching sports relaxes me. I'm not a big rah rah guy myself; I'm not really analytical, either.
