Well, one whimsical question I have for you (well, anyone can feel free to answer this), is how many times you've said or thought "as*hole" in referrence to me. :D I imagine it's a whole bunch, but I could be wrong.

so why does bad things happen to good people
if I'm such a good person why do I have AS or the lonelyness and crap I carry
why does God give me that?

I don't know the whole answer, Kilroy, but I bet you often sense parts of those answers, right? When I'm going through a painful time (like, my life), I often see reasons for my current difficulties at certain times, and then at other times, I can't see those reasons anymore -- I lose sight of them for a while, sometimes a long while. Does that ever happen to you?

Sopho, if I posited that you do not want to know whether there is a god or not, would that be a correct statement -- yes or no?

I do not care. I doubt very much whether there is, in the same way that I view the existence of Santa or the Tooth Fairy. I can't prove no god exists, but I don't believe in any.

That would be a "no".

If I thought there was much chance of a god existing, then I'd be interested to find out. It's not a case of whether I want to know or not. It's just that I find it too ridiculous to be true.

It may not seem like it, but whether you want to know, deep inside, is actually crucial to whether you'll find out. I think everyone naturally wants to know, deep down. But less deeply, we may say, "Ah, f*ck it! It's not real," to avoid the possibility of hoping hopelessly.

It's not fair.

I don't see much anger towards god.
How many people voted 'enemy' in your friend/foe/fake thread, Ragtime?
I think most people just don't believe it all.

He agreed. That's why He created the flood.
