The people who end up in abusive relationships aren’t at fault. The abuser is.

With that being said, I am much less likely to be in an abusive relationship now than when I was younger because I’ve learned, through experience, what to watch out for. I was utterly clueless in the past. Sometimes younger people get lucky and end up with someone worthwhile. Sometimes not.

Good point. ^ I guess we've learned a lot over time. I hope it didn't sound like I was blaming anyone for making a bad choice, but rather just admitting it can happen. We all have vulnerabilities regardless of our age. Let's hope we can keep educating one another so the likelihood of it happening to anyone here will be reduced. Every day can be a learning experience even if you don't have a partner, if you reflect on the experiences of others.

While I have been in previous romantic relationships prior to Jerry I am still a little clueless and naive when it comes to the husband-selection process!

I don't know how to choose the right man!

SpongeBob and Mario are FICTIONAL

Exactly! And besides Squidward is the perfect man, not SpongeBob. From has Chadly maturity to the way he exudes confidence from his every pore. He makes Spongebob look like a kid.

I'd say that Squidward has a strong backbone except that he's an invertabrate. Squidward is a respnonsible man, while Spongebob just causes trouble. Squidward has mastered a musical instrumant while Spongebob hasn't even mastered driving a car.

Squidward is the ideal man

Lol I think Squidward has feelings for Sandy or Mrs. Puff so he's taken anyway LMAO

In all seriousness I think SpongeBob is cute and he & I have a lot in common

That just means the character is realistic and well-written which might actually be problematic because it has created my desire to love him

But he is FICTIONAL so maybe I should start backing myself off of SpongeBob SquarePants and start moving towards real men!

SpongeBob or Mario cannot provide my needs of sex & intimacy!

Well they can but only in my dreams and fanfiction stories

As for Squidward it raises the question:

Why is he the one villified for mastering the clarinet instead of SpongeBob?

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

There can only be one answer. Envy.

He is a sweet guy and is sincere in my letters

Is he a serial killer?

Over the years, I've seen several articles in the news about serial killers having many female fans. In one of the articles, a psychologist explained that the reason for the popularity of marrying serial killers is that for some X% of the female population (and surely the male population as well), fame is so extremely attractive that it causes people to fall in love with famous serial killers, and just ignore the fact that the object of one's love is a serial killer. Just simply ignore the fact that he's a monster.

It's surprisingly common, according to the articles I read. Usually it happens with bad guys who are less extreme than serial killers, but it also happens with the most extreme bad guys. Even Hitler was very attractive for a surprisingly large number of girls. I say "girls" because no woman could love Hitler.

Shouldn’t a serial killer be locked up for life?

Many animals use mating dances to assess suitability. :nerdy:

Most people who haven't had sex aren't ready for it yet. Desperation too is a red flag for a lot of people.

He probably ended up in prison because like what was said earlier in this thread our justice system is so f****d up and especially the California justice system

The report mentioned vandalism as his ONLY major offense

You may get sent to jail for vandalism, but prison?

Have you ever sent this man money (put money on his books for commissary) ?

I have become so anxious on your behalf that I'm shaking trying to write this.

Please, be careful.
