Even when I weighed 145 pounds, I was just under a 24 BMI. People said I looked "thin" then.

Certainly I think a woman looks best in the category listed "slightly overweight" here, and I think I'm not alone in thinking this.

Perhaps women think similar things about men. It's not nice to be too thin.

Well, you are in my good books now.

I'm not that fussy myself. Which I suppose is not helpful. I currently like quite a slender man. Not fussed about muscles. He has the most wonderful manner about him. He's very genuine and polite and has a pleasant smile and lovely eyes

I don't know that many women who sew these days. My friends come to me if they need alterations because they don't know how to do it.

Things all genders like:

Learning a new language
Learning first aid
Genealogy (researching your family history)
Cooking
Improving computer skills
Table top gaming (there's a group near you with female members)
Walking clubs "get outside"
Film clubs
Fictional writing
Improv
Catovers flu
Dog walking club (May need a dog for this one though)
Dance
Dodgeball
Mix n mingle group (there's one near you)
Recycling/environment/beach clean/
Rowing/canoeing
Puppeteering
Comics
Cycling
There's a lot of programming groups near me (hmm when I'm feeling a bit better I might investigate)
Pub quiz (No sure if this is just a British thing)
Craft beer lovers

Hiking
Rafting
Nature activities in general.

But these are just once in a while activities, it's not realistic to do them frequently.

Not realistic in an urban environment---but certainly much more realistic in a suburban/rural sort of environment.

The main problem is probably the availability of a raft for rent.

Autism doesn't mean one set thing, we're all individuals with varying traits.

I'm the same, I like many different things, and I may focus on one thing for a while obsessively but then after a few weeks or months I will often move on to a new obsession. We are not all so rigidly attached to just one or two special interests.

I also have loved camping and hiking in the woods since I was little. My family used to go camping all the time, it's sort of a family tradition. I'm sure I'm not the only woman with similar experiences. And I don't knit or sew, never learned how.

Well I don't think, although it's of course terribly clichéd, that physical features are of great importance anyway. I think all women who are sweet natured, well brought up and well mannered are good looking. These things as it were shine through their outward appearance and mark them as women to be sought. I don't know if this is true for any other men though - not that I know of.

I'm forgetting I live in the UK. The North. Even in the centre of a city, with a short drive or train journey you can very quickly be in the middle of nowhere.

Being obsessed about one topic is part of the aspergers diagnosis
That we get stuck on things and go on and on and on about them for years.

encompassing preoccupation with one or more stereotyped and restricted patterns of interest that is abnormal either in intensity or focus.
One or more.
I have about a gazillion interests, are any of them restricted or abnormal?
I don't think so.
Maybe I'm not autistic and should fluff off this forum.
