The sheer hypocrisy of someone who says they're 'accepting' but doesn't accept 'South Asians and Blacks' smells stinkier than a lorry load of dead rats, unfortunately.

The Race bit was what I want (Sorry for being shallow but I just don't feel anything there for people of that race, which still puzzles me till today)

Tim. You have been doing the profiling yourself every week. You are desperate guy. Go away from the internet. It won't work for you.

I tried going to the support group at my school, but the only girl there was already in a relationship.

If we were living in the same area, and if my dad allows me, I would've asked you out on a date    :hail: ('hope you don't mind people who are just a little shallow in anywhere except in emotional areas)
P.S.: Check my profile on page 96 of this topicf you don't get what I'm saying.

Has anybody ever really gone out with someone on this site? Or are all the postings just desperate postings?

People are desperate here. I only profiled once. Others are doing it million of times especially Tim.

Six times by my count. And most of them were updates of previous entries.

I proposed in the past a subforum where every single poster could create one thread presenting himself. He could then update his own thread, others could ask questions, and nobodys profile would be lost and forgotten halfway this 90-pages thread.

My proposal was received with enthousiasm by several members but I am not sure if any moderator or forum admin ever considered my proposal. I do think one topic per person would be handier for overview than all profiles jammed in one topic where you go through 90 pages to read them all.

They only let you update if the post is 9999 minutes old or less.

I think it is a great idea to start an aspie/slightly autistic matchmaking service between the slightly autistic and sympathetic neurotypicals. However this being said, I think it is a bad idea to host such a thing here, on a forum like this.

First off all, you have no clue who could be on here and what they're like in real life. It is a very risky gambit.

Second of all, most of the people on here are from different states and the chance of you being anywhere relatively close to these people geographically is slim to none.

And finally, there is no compatibility tests to see if any of you match each other personality wise/interest wise. For love to be perfect, you need intimacy, passion, and commitment. What people say online is one thing, but their actions might be entirely different.

So great idea, but perhaps not the best set up possible. I would be very pleased if there was a slightly autistic dating service, like an E-Harmony or Match.com, in every state for autistic singles/sympathetic neurotypicals. Perhaps one of you can start such a venture, but then you will have to have compatibility tests and matches and the whole affair becomes a tedious whirlwind of paperwork and mental anguish.

No offense to anyone who trust in this dating/romantic service thing on www.wrongplanet.net, I'm just trying to make a valid and reasonable point.

Sorry ladies, as much as I know you're dying to know about me, I must keep a confidential profile :P Too bad ;)

And don't think I don't sympathize with my autistic brethern. I've been single as long as most of you or even longer (21 years for me, I'm sure some of you longer than that). I know what it is like to be alone and to feel alienated from my female peers, and yet secretly wanting them to bestow their affections upon me.

Yet even I know, that dating on here is not the best approach and is fairly risky, so a word to the wise- don't get caught up into your loneliness and search for quick fixes. You'll only have temporary results.
