Perhaps they are. It could be a time passing game on the... spaceship (I am not sure which show that is... :? )

Or is it the other way around?

*sigh...*

Star Trek is something everyone should know more about than the intricacies of made-up terms like "nice guy". Humanity would be better off that way.

I couldnt be sure whether it was Star Trek or Stargate and I didnt want to say the wrong one... Both shows feature people on a spaceship with tight looking costumes and demi-aliens on board.

I never watched either series, though I did see the recent Star Trek movie with that cute actor playing Spock.

Well, only Atlantis has the "tight looking costumes".

SG1 was more traditional with the Air Force getup. But since you don't watch the shows, I guess you're forgiven.

But still, everybody in this thread needs to watch more Star Trek. And I don't want anybody back until they know what "Darmok and Jallad at Tanagra" means.

And to the women on here...uh, yeah, you have Asperger's, of course you wouldn't respond the same way as an NT girl. You might think you would, but you wouldn't, sorry.

I don't know about getting away with that. Just because you didn't receive a slap doesn't mean that comment actually benefited you. Also not all women who don't like that kind of comment start screaming at you either. Some might give either polite or nervous laughter and keep their real opinion inside to avoid confrontation. Though I guess in if the quality of women (quality of character) is low and the level of intoxication is high at that place, I guess you could get away with that with the majority.

Ok, so a woman who doesn't punch you in the face for complimenting her for her beautiful titties is a woman of low character.

Got it. Let me jot it down on this piece of paper.

i prefer the quietly confident type.

What does a "quietly confident" person look like?

I'm technically the extremely quiet straight-faced confident type who tends to ignore women.

The loud arrogant confident ones tend to be running in circles chasing their own tails if they find it attractive. They also like to sit next to me, be afraid of me and tell me there going to hit me.

Just imagine a quiet more intelligent alpha vs a slightly dumb more aggressive alpha.

Both ways have merit in nature, but the jerk tends to be the victor in love.

^ In the short term, yes. But in the long term perhaps not.

Its a far too simplistic outlook on the interpersonal relationship between adult homo sapiens

Yes, everything I say, everything I do....I do it for you......that was a lame song.....

Getting back on topic...

The mass generalisations on this thread are what i'm aiming at. Because there mass generalisations mixed with a bit of half baked evolutionary biology thrown into the mix.
